The missing stove is very annoying. Additionally you cannot sleep well on the beds near to the door because there are no light-tight curtains. On the upper beds you always look into the light bulbs of the corridor. Horrible!

The hostel is a very lovely place to stay. We had a TV in our room (private room) which I didn't expect at all. It was good for the evenings though after a loooong walk in Stockholm. :P I was a bit worried because I read about bed bucks, but we had no bed bucks and the hostel was very clean, so I don't believe there are any bed bucks. I thought the rules were a bit strict...and I didn't like the air conditioner in the room, because I totally tried out. But it is okay. :)

I stayed at this hostel for two nights with a group, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is fantastic - only about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station, and we were able to get all around the city by walking (and taking the occasional boat). The staff were very accommodating, and there were no issues with getting into the building and rooms when arriving late.

We were a bit disappointed about the kitchen. We thought we could cook there, but its only a refrigerator, two microwaves and a kettle. Anything else was very good, we realley enjoyed our stay there.

No cooking hobs! Microwaves and kettle only so be careful about what your buying for dinner. Lockers in the rooms but not big enough to fit a large bag in (bring your own padlock). Beds are VERY squeaky so if your a light sleeper I would stay elsewhere. Apart from that, really good.

thin-walled so you can hear your neighbours; lack of windows is claustrophobic; sanitary facilities too far away from (single) bedroom

Very nice and beautiful hostel. The Location is perfect. At check-in, they should point out that the "kitchen", where you're supposed to prepare your own breakfast and meals DOENS'T actually have a STOVE or OVEN. Big disappointment, when you come back from the supermarket and want to prepare a simple pasta dish or even just a pizza. Also, keep your bread in your room, our's got stolen even though we put our name on it like it was required. :(

Location, staff and cleanliness were all great, and my stay was very comfortable. Though it is more like a b+b than a backpackers. The showers can be a bit irritating to operate, switching off every ten seconds, then having to play around with a sensor to get the water flowing again. And then having it spray you while you are drying yourself.

Nice and clean, good location BUT once u ve check out there is no way even to sit in the living room while u wait or anything (and u re told pretty agressivly not to enter). U can leave ur luggage for the day but there is no locked room for that...

The Hostel's rooms are located beneath the ground with non daylight windows, through the small holes to the street the street lights shine all night (with no means to shut). The toilets are located far away from many rooms; e.g. ours. People walk in and out of the kitchen without even greeting, an eery atmosphere, sort of like a junkies crashpad. Will never stay there again.

I had a very pleasant stay there. Staff were amiable and helpful. Knowing that I had an exam the next day they switched me to a larger and quieter room. The bathroom was very clear and better yet you would hear soft music upon entering, which makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommended.

All in all a good place to stay within a short walking distance from central Stockholm. I'm still glad I only stayed a few nights, the mattresses are so thin my back wouldn't have liked it if I stayed longer.

We arived when they were renovating hostel! Builders were working in a front of our room door. First morning builder knocked on our door at 7.30 and asked when we were going to leave!! Both of us were asleep at this time. It was so noisy while they were working. They should not accomodate travellers in the area which is in a renovation process or to be honest they should be closed while renovating. Also we asked for hair dryers, which staff could not find because they didnt know where they were.

If I knew, that they were renovating the hostel, I ould have thought twice about staying there. My room had no window and there was a kinda weird smell. It wasn´t that bad and for one night it definetely was ok. Still, I´d have loved knowing about the renovation. Stuff was helpfull and friendly, bathroom was clean and atmosphere was over all nice.
