The location is very good, near to the main train station and the altstadt. The are only 2 bathrooms to take a shower and 2 for others necessities, but they are clean. They have towels to lend and cost 2,5 euros, for one big e one small. The big problem is the noise of the bars around, to make it better you have to close all the windows and depending on the season it can be really warm, and even so the noise is still there. Sleeping problems? don´t go.

Totally average hostel, no complaints. The three-bed bunks were a little tight, but location (right near the train station on the way to the city centre) can't really be beat. Also, painting everything in primary colours? Interesting decor choice.

Cheaper or free WiFi would make this place better. Your staff member, Jane, was extremely helpful and really adds value to City Hostel.

Having lockers which can be locked with keys would have been safer... Except that everything was good

The hostel is really near the mainstation the living room is nice. The think that i didn't like was the bads (bunk bed for 3) and the fact that you have to pay to use the internet !

What can I say? The hostel is very well located and has a friendly staff and all but it is the most noisy hostel I have stayed at. The hostel is next to an Irish Pub and is located between a number of cafés with people having a drink outside or just passing through. The two nights I stayed at the hostel I slept very poorly because of all the noise. A pity really because the location is awesome :-(

I think that the Wifi has to be included with no extra charge, the rest is very good.

The Hostel is very expensive and it doesnt offer breakfast. The receptionists were really helpful but it would help if all of them spoke English. The common rooms are not comfortable for meeting new people.

I stayed here with my 7 year old son. It was kid friendly and some good restaruants one block over towards the train station. The internet (had issues) but otherwise it was good basic accomidation. The other side of the train station had other hostels but they were a lot more expensive.

Friendly staff. Nice location. The overall environment was clean to stay in. If WIFI was free of charge, then that would be perfect!
