Great location. Cool old building. Has character but isn't dingy. Comfortable temps in the building (except the common area in the basement which was really cold). Many hostels are freezing cold or boiling hot. Hostel offered free computer use for internet access, not just free WiFi, which was great b/c my iPhone was stolen in SF. Place seemed clean except many stains on room carpet.

Great hostel !! As it said : "enter as stranger leave as a friend" ! Thanks to my stay, I left as a friend and will be back everytime i travel to seattle ! The cleanliness was amazing and the staff excellent !! Location is perfect, between the space needle and public market ! Once you're there , no public transport needed ! Recommand it !!

I've stayed in loads of hostels around the world and this one ranks as one of the best. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, lots of showers/bathrooms (no lines!), free breakfast, great location, safe--I'd definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Very nice stay at this hostel - staff were excellent - really friendly and very knowledgeable about local area, things to do and how to get there. The cooker was out of order on the floor I stayed on which was a bit of a pain as there's only one kitchen per floor but apart from that everything was great.

Awesome place for my first stay in a hostel. Probably setting my expectations too high for future ones, but it was a great experience nonetheless and lots of fun!

Enjoyed the experience of meeting a large variety of people. The staff were very professional and helpful. One thing that should be changed, is the mentioning of the state tax online, which was added to the total upon arrival. An additional $30-40 was added onto my total, and this would have been very good to know ahead of time. Further, perhaps something more than peanut butter and jam sandwiches, with cereal, would be better for breakfast? =) Thank you.

Fantastic place. A 10 minute walk from the QuickCoach stop (to and from Vancouver) and the Space Needle. Friendly service and clean facilities. No bugs which is a bonus. :)

Excellent location... Could see the space needle out on my window and took less than 10 minutes to walk to pikes place! staff were excellent and willing to help with any questions! Well worth the money for location alone! free breakfast was also excellent!

really enjoyed my 1 night in this hostel, very comfy beds and great facilitys and super clean. This hostel is on the large side and found it harder to socialise than in smaller hostels but very well managed and a great atmophere.

Just a short walk from Pike markets. Although these only take 30 minutes to see so don't get too excited. All in all, a pretty good hostel and central to some good spots and cafes/bars.

It's a nice place with a lot of character. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little slow because of the time of year so the atmosphere is probably better in the Spring/Summer. The location was excellent. I would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Second time I've stayed here and one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Staff are very friendly and helpful, great location, and beautiful art.

The hostel was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We were in a dorm room that slept 8 people, with lockers nod a sink. The shared bathroom facilities were awesome. You had your own shower/toilet room and they were always clean. The staff were really nice, always greeting you and knew a lot about the city. The common areas were ok. The lounge and dining area was in the basement, along with a movie theatre and laundry facilities. Aside from some very odd guests, the hostel was excellent!

I really liked the hostel style and atmosphere, with the paintings all around the place. The staff was very helpful and nice and I really enjoyed the weekend there.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at! Helpful staff, amazing facilities, warm atmosphere and such cool art! Different mural in every room. There's a kitchen on every floor, and several private bathrooms which are super clean. The location is within walking distance of just about everything, and is in the middle of a ton of bars! A little noisy at night outside if you try to get to bed early, but if you're into the bar scene, it's super nice. Don't stay anywhere else in Seattle!

The staff is definitely what stands out. Most of the people working there is helpful and very friendly, making you feel comfortable to ask for help whenever you want. The room were I stayed (6 beds dorm) was nice, but a bit squeezed. Toilets and bathrooms are separate things and it was very unusual not to find one I could use when I needed. There are kitchens in every floor and, although they are all tiny, I was always able to find one where I could prepare my food. I'd stay there again.

Honestly, one of the best hostels I've stayed in - clean, accessible, good beds and facilities. The only thing which let it down was the 50/50 friendly/grumpy staff members.. some were lovely and so helpful and the others not. I highly recommend this hostel.
