City Hotel Storch Reviews

We found Hotel Storch a very odd hotel that lacked any kind of warmth or character. We only saw a staff member once or twice, and they were very uncommunicative. For two days we did not have any towels in our room as the cleaning staff took them away and did not give us any fresh ones, we had to seek out staff to get them replaced. We booked a double bed and received two singles, and the staff told us they do not have double beds (despite it stating double in our booking.) Would not recommend.

Hostel was in a convenient location for us for visiting the christmas markets as the furthest 1 was a 15 min walk. The rooms were a reasonable size even for three of us and were well presented and clean. Only downside is lack of communication via email from the staff. I had no confirmation from them when I sent the email to confirm my booking and have twice tried to contact them after the visit to enquire if an item of jewelery was left in the room and still haven't had a response from them.
