Very centrally located and affordable compared to other options in Vila. Our room was overlooking the main street and had a view towards the bay. The lodge has someone at their front desk 24hrs, which was great and very convenient. The room was clean, although there was only one electrical outlet and it was hard to find/reach (blocked by bed).

Had a nice night in an empty dorm. Had lockers, small, but good facility. 150 VT to the airport by bus - good price. Opposite market. Okay place to spend a night or two when arriving or leaving Port Vila.

City lodge is basically a low budget place for locals to stay, not mainly a backbacker joint. The owner does not seem to treat the staff very well, thus quite ignorant service. Anyways, can't beat the location. You will find better accomodation in Port Vila
