I slept in the dorm. This not an actual dorm but more of a storage area for the kitcheware. There is no door and it is completely open on the corridor, which means noise + light from the corridor at night. It is located above a couple of shops with loud techno music all day long. There is 1 toilet and 1 shower for the whole dorm + staff. be prepared to queue for your morning shower.

The accommodation was fine - for the price it was good value. Some staff were really helpful and attentive, others completely indifferent. The hotel is in a good location for easy access to the city and the airport. The room was a bit rundown but totally fine. It was a good place to stay for easy access to the airport, but not a great place to stay to relax. All up though - it was fine.

Perfect for travelers on a budget. 11 rooms, 1 is a backpackers with 8 bunks. Lockers available. Security is absolutely not an issue in Vanuatu and City Lodge is no exception. Shared bathroom in bunk area, but bleached daily. Exceptionally friendly staff. Prime location. Walk to Market, Grocery, Casino, Tourist agency for tours/rentals, Restaurants, ATM and buses going past all the time. Much better than a resort if you want to get the true Vanuatu experience. Safe for solo female travelers.

I recomended to people to come and stay here.

Very expensive just for a dorm room which is also a store room for kitchen stuff. all the cleaners would hanging around in the dorm room chatting even when i was sleeping. The staff seemed annoyed when i asked for info about the city.
