Great budget hotel! Room and bathroom were both spotless and the bed was good. YMCA gym next door and all sorts of fun bars/restaurants nearby. Perfect place for me, was looking for a clean, safe, quiet place & that is exactly what I found. :-) Was a little bit of a walk from the city center, but worth it for the price & what you get. Great place to stay, very clean and welcoming.I would definitely stay there again. It is very quiet though and it isn't the most social of atmospheres. More like a hotel than a hostel, which is great if that's what you're looking for.Great place to stay, very clean and welcoming.I would definitely stay there again. All-together I found the stay to be very good, it was nice that the hostel was close to the CBD, K'Rd. & the gay night life. Very nice and cheap hostel in the heart of Auckland, just a few minutes walking from the main city boulevard Queen St. All rooms are ensuite, cleaned and tided up every day. Guest kitchen is clean and well equipped. V, internet access points, sofas, tablegames, newspapers and magazines are available in the living room close to the kitchen. Wireless connection is cheap and fast.
