It is a nice hostel with friendly staff in an excellent location. The cleaness is great. Two points to be improved are the quality of the bed and the size of the towels, which should be larger.

It was very clean, and in a very uniquely Koln neighborhood. Though a little pricey for the size of the room and facilities, I would stay there again.

Mussten zum gebuchten Preis weitere Gebühren zahlen, welche wir uns angeblich von der Stadt zurückholen können. Statt des gebuchten Doppelbetts, wurden uns zunächst 2 winzige Einzelbetten angeboten. Letztlich haben wir ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit 2 aneinander geschobenen Betten bekommen. Am 1. Morgen stand die Putzfrau ohne anklopfen im Zimmer. Am 2. wurden wir gegen 10 Uhr vom Besitzer geweckt mit der Frage, wann wir auschecken - ebenfalls ohne anklopfen. FIESE HÜTTE im fiesen Viertel.

The so called "twin room" is a single bed room with a single bed (sized for children) where the staff will kindly suggest to add an extra "bed" (bed usualy used in Hotels when a child sleeps in the room with parents). The room was about 9 square meter! Because everything was booked that weekend, we asked for 2 rooms in the hotel (in order to have 2 "normal bed"). I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS HOTEL IF YOU PLAN A WEEKEND WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND/GRILFRIEND!

+ Private bathroom + Close to Hansaring train station (which is next to main station) - Loud (better bring ear plugs) - Floor filthy - Room service (though kind) came in without knocking (twice) and locked me in afterwards [- Tiny (not a complaint)] But you get what you pay for of course.
