I was terrified based on reviews of this place, but there's nothing wrong with this place. In the world of super nice hostels it might get left behind, but the bad reviews are from some really harsh critics.

A lot of noise just outside the hostel, and not closing windows, not been able to sleep at all. Toilets blocked. Time to check in until 23h, actually later but they forgot to tell me and I had to rush to get there. Very expensive.

Directions how to get there are wrong, there are no buses currently going there,it´s better to walk as it Is 10min away from the bus/train station.I had a problem, after taking my shower,I could´t enter my room, the electronic key wouldn't work. No one was there to help as the reception Is closed almost all the time! This info wasn't made clear when I booked via Hostelworld. Also you cannot Check in before 16:00. This was the worst hostel I've ever seen! Go there only if you have no other choice!

It was really dirty. especially in the kitchen. Seems that nobody cares... The doors are so loud that you can't sleep even when you have a single room. Can't recommend it.

The beds were very rickety and not very stable but luckily I was the only person in the room. The room was basic which is fine but had to pay extra for sheets. The guy on reception was nice enough but couldn't tell me if I could get the airport bus from the closest bus station which I thought was strange (you can't you need to go to the main train station). Not great atmosphere there is a common room but no one was really using it.

We were very unhappy with our stay here. We paid quite a lot for an 8 bed dorm room, which had run down facilities. The bathrooms were not clean. The curtains did not keep out the bright sunshine at 4am. It was noisy from clubs nearby. However the staff were friendly, spoke English, their wifi access was moderately good, and there was an elevator.

In general I liked the hostel quite well: the location, the room, we were staying in, also the common rooms and the staff. Good breakfast too. But as for the shared bathrooms... well, they are really not that nice. And when your on the top floor, there might be no water in the showers in the morning, which is a bit annoying.

Certainly not a nice hostel, but there's nothing actually wrong with it.

I was a bit sceptical about this hostel, having read previous reviews were it's poor hygiene was frequently mentioned, but I found it to be both clean and comfortable. I was impressed by the nice common rooms and lovely outdoor sitting area. The staff was friendly as well. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy because of the pubs in the nearby street. My room (dorm/ room 38) was facing away from the pub area so I slept well although I could hear the bass through the walls.

There wasn't a suitable place for suitcases to be left in the room. The lockers are to small for a large suitcase

50 kr extra for sheets and 20 kr extra for towels so our twin room cost a further $20 a night which is sizeable and leaves a bitter taste to the experience. I understand extra for towels, but charging extra for sheets is outdated. Kitchen facilities are very good. Wifi and Internet intermittent. Not sure it works on higher floors. Cost to Aarhus from Copenhagen is expensive - skip it unless your really keen on it. Better to skip Ryan air altogether to Denmark and fly Easyjet in/out Copenhagen.

I have been in many hostels, and this one is the worst one by far. -Our room was REALLY dirty...the walls, the WC (it wasn't cleaned in the 4 days we were there, and it was running of toilet paper many times). -The STAFF was in their positions only a few hours (from 15 to 16:00 and from 21 to 08:00 nobody took care) -You had to pay for using the facilities (billiard and baby-foot thing). -No indications at all...we found the elevator by chance, as also the stairs from the rooms,... No worthy

The common rooms are really cool, and the self-catering kitchen is big and well-equipped. Didn't have the breakfast buffet myself, but that looked really good too. Really nice place to stay in Aarhus, not too far from the train station or the city center.

The paintings in the hostel are really cute and colourful! Not too difficult to find this hostel too, about 15 mins from the central station. The washroom is a little bit small n the shower's just average. But overall speaking, this hostel is not bad :D

Everything OK although the showers were not very nice, and the bed creaked every time I made a small movement. This did not bother me but it probably did to the person sleeping in the bed under mine

The cheapest in Arhus. Now i know why. Feeling and conveniences small better like a shelter for the homeless.
