City Youth Hostel Dusseldorf Reviews

This hostel is very strange. Everything is perfect, rooms are super clean, staff is OK, facilities are perfect, there is a bar with cheap beer. But it is to German for my taste, too much \"Ordnung\". It lacks a backpackers soul, it is too pedantic. If you are a very organized person, this hostel is for you. If, on other hand you are a bit of a bum, like me - you will not feel comfortable in there.

This hostel is the very perfect and very well-organised. Location is very good, quite and nice. The breakfast was excellent.

pl keep always ready mineral water ready on paynent basis,because nothing is available near by after evening.....tks

Good place to stay. 4 man room had own bathroom and toilet, all clean. Comfortable beds and decent breakfast.

There's not much going on here, but... Location is great. Facilities are brand new and perfectly clean. And architecture is just terrific.

Nothing like its advertised about

It was a little expensive, but was more like a hotel than a hostel. Very nice atmosphere, fairly good location - about 40 minutes walk to the Hauptbahnhof - and rooms have their own bathrooms/showers.

Front desk cancelled my reservation by accident, made me go through a long process in order to sort out problem. Internet costs 50cents per 10 minutes for a computer with a keyboard that is almost impossible to use. New, modern but cold design, Washrooms are superclean. For a regular towel (they call it a big towel) 2.50 Euro.For me it was like a hotel run by young people where you didn't get your own room.

good price, clean, really big rooms, really good breakfast, and the place is nice. more like a hotel then a hostel. you have to pay for wifi. but you have everything you need there. i would stay there again. bus stop in front of the hostel.
