It one of the best hostel where a have beeb stayed. We stayed at this hostel only one night but it was wonderful!

This was my very first time in a hostel. And I have to say, that this is more fun than to be in a hotel; a shy and awkward person like me can get to know people from Italy, Germany, etc. and exchange views. In a hotel it's just coming in and going out.

A nice place to stay. A bit shame that the water broke down in our room, since we had booked with private bathroom. But I guess things like that could happen in Riga. Got five lats off - not very much, but we had a nice stay anyways! :)

We got confused when we arrived and were looking for our hostel since it's actually called "Barons"(someting) and not "City Central Hostel" as it's called in the booking confirmation.

Everything was fantastic although the bathroom was unfinished it could do with a door, the loo smelt, it was a noisy motorised toilet and the shower kept going cold. apart from that it was fab. the girl who runs it and her fella ben are top and worked really hard. thanks great place.

Its a very good hostel to stay in, the staff was helpful and the room was clean. The only downside was that the curtains were not sufficient to keep the lights out and the room i stayed in was right in front of a tram station so i woke up at 4-5 am in the morning everyday when the tram brakes.
Otherwise, its a very nice hostel and generously well equipped.
