nice place but a bit too many school classes and too little night life in the bar...

We were so, so impressed by this hostel. As it was in such a great location and cheaper than a lot of other hostels, we really didn't expect our rooms, the facilities or the free breakfast to be very good at all but everything was just incredible. The only one fault we could pick would be that if our shower was on full power, it did leak in to the room but this wasn't an issue as it still worked just as well on a lower power.

This is the largest hostel we´d ever been to. We had an 8-dorm with shared bathroom. Showers are OK, bathroom gets dirty very quickly. My vote on cleanliness is \"very poor\", since we found two BED BUGS and for us that is an absolute no-go. Location is excellent. Very close to the major sights and also very close to public transportation. Wifi it´s free but with a code that is renewed every 12 hours by a system that sometimes doesn´t work. Quiet hostel, but also with lots of people to interact.

location is good, it is centrally loacted in all the sights, u can get to the Poshdam plaza, Charles checkpoint, the Berlin Wall by walk!!! room is big enough. The only worst thing, is the slow wifi!!

We stayed one night only and did the chekout in the morning: they allow Checking only after 15:00! and you need to checkout before 10:00! And after checkout thay do not allowed us to use the wifi without pay for it, this is ridiculos and sounds as littleness as we did not stayed 24 hours.. So our evaluation is regular.

The situation is perfect: 5-7 minutes on foot to Branderbur Tor, less than 5 minutes to Nazis victims monument, and to main and the biggest street in Berlin (Unter der Linde). Breakfast is awesome to be a Hostel. Workers there are so nice and helpful. If you go by car, you can park at the hotel parking for 5 €/day and you can forget to pay every our outside the parking. The bad thing is the Wifi: you hace to login every 5 minutes THe best hostel to stay some day in Berlin, no doubts!

Hi! My stay in City Hostel in Berlin was awesome, it was really nice because I didn´t expect that, it was very clean, the staff was really nice with us (I went with one friend), the breakfast was perfect it had al lot of things and so healthy food, the only thing that I want to say is that they should be more specific in the location, becasuse it has a perfect location but they say it is nearest the alexanderplatz and it´s not near that spot, they should say that is near the Brandenburg door!

Before arriving to the hostel, I have high expectation for the hostel cause of its good review. However, when I reach the hostel, I needed to make some changes to the number of beds required as 2 of my friends could not make it. The staffs keep rejecting our requests to cancel the 2 beds. Although they eventually removed the cost of one bed, I asked them why they don't cancel the last bed as well. Furthermore, i was disappointed with the Internet connection as I could not surf anything.

Although I have some problem communicating w/ the stuff when I was looking for the location of the hostel, the location is very close to most the sightseeing spots. The breakfast is fantastic with great variety!!! The map they offered is really helpful for walking in Berlin. They also offer free towel for shower. It is a pity that we have to buy a lock for security if we wish to lock the locker.

I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights , I had very bad experience !!!!! My camera and Ipad got stolen in this hostel, the staff was not helpful at all I would not recommend anyone to stay in this place bad bad bad !!!!!!

The hostel is located at very good location. Hostel staffs are nice and the facilities are OK.

I stayed two nights at this hostel, and I really had a great time there. After being in other hostels in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands and Belgium, I have to say, without exaggerating, that this one is so far my favorite. Definitely, I’ll be back there when I go back to Berlin.

They said they have lockers.But be careful, it is only a place to put your stuff,you have to bring a lock for that or buy it for 5 € from reception. The location is good for historical places but we realized in the secind day, to stay in the east Berlin is much much better around Alexander platz. The staff was rude, we were 4 girls and 2 wierd guys came to the room for the night. They talked the whole night and did not sleep and didnt leave the room also, they said what can we do??!!!!

Helpful staff and a great breakfast! Good location and very clean too.

Stayed in 6 bed ensuite room with two others. The beds were good, shower and bathroom worked great and everything was clean. The location is pretty awesome and it is super easy to get around. The guy who was working the desk around midnight when we checked in was super nice and helpful, the rest of the attendants were a little distant and seemed to be bothered when we asked for something. Having to get a new WIFI password every day is annoying. Breakfast was pretty moderate. Decent place though.
