WiFi was not available in rooms only the downstairs common area which actually made thearea quite unsociable

Cleanliness was impeccable. Toilets and showers were always outstandingly clean as well as communal areas. Very off putting that you had to pay for bedding. Stayed all over Europe and this was the only place that charges for bedding. Ridiculous fee. Rooms were really nice. Wifi only in common areas which is annoying as it makes the downstairs unsociable Could do with a better organised luggage room - it was mayhem Needs security within the room EG safe box or drawers to put padlocks on

The hostel is pretty big and it functions more as a dormitory. It has all kinds of services, like a bar, breakfast, etc. but it is not home-like, there is not kitchen were you can cook, or fridge to keep your things. So it depends what you're looking for, it is great but for instance personally I prefer the more homy type of hostels. It has a big yard which is nice. It is always full of people in the common spaces. The location is great, just next to Alexanderplatz, couldn't be better.

Great social area and bar. Staff were mostly nice. Rooms are hot and desperately need fans. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly. Some people got stuff stolen and I had a stranger open my room door in the middle of the day for no reason as the beds were already cleaned. Use the lockers.

We got stolen inside the hostal, a guy came in all the way to the tables inside the hostal and started asking for money, in that moment he put a paper above the table and he grab the wallet, we look at the security cameras after and we saw him leaving the hostal, but we couldn't get back the wallet. they don't have any control on the people that goes inside and out the hostal, everything else was very pleasant.

Really disappointed with this hostel, I'd heard good things from a friend but I found the staff unhelpful and not very welcoming. Also the lockers were very small and the wifi rarely worked which was a hassle as we couldn't book accommodation for other places whilst there

Really fantastic hostel. Really easy to get there from TXL airport and to get to/from main train station. Located really close to most musuems and a majority of sites. Also in a good location for food and drink, square/market nearby has some great (and affordable) restaurants, Hofbraus house is rough 10 mins away as well. In house bar also offered some good deals. Really fun atmosphere that can go on til morning hours, but doesn't disturb you trying to sleep if you crash earlier

Wifi needs fixing. Nobody in my group could connect to it.

Great location, but very loud place. I would recommend it if you do not mind noise to fall asleep. Staff was nice and room average. There are plenty of toilettes and individual showers!

This place to stay in was good, but I've stayed in better places, to be honest. The place is clean enough, has a good enough location, the bed seemed fine, same with the shower/toilet facilities, but I feel everything could've been so much better. Unless you were part of a group, It was hard to get to know people, compared to other hostels I stayed in. The staff seemed fine, helpful, the only bad thing was the wireless internet connection, to be blunt, it was woeful, kept disconnecting.

They have a great communal area downstairs which is good for meeting other travellers. There are shared showers but I never found that I had to spend any time waiting for them. The room was open and airy and overall very comfortable with small lockers for any personal belongings.

Perfect location just 5 min walk to alexanderplatz.

Good atmosphere, bar downstairs, good location, clean facilities, added charges for sheets/pillow on arrival. Close to a metro station so access into the city was great.

the courtyard got very loud at night and every room has a window facing the courtyard so they hear it. the bar/common area was very nice tho.

Everything was great! It was affordable, the location was easy to find and it's walking distance to everything you will want to see, the rooms were nice and clean, and I felt very safe. Everyone on staff and other roommates were all friendly and welcoming. The only thing was the toilets and sinks were filthy.
