This hostel is located in a good area, close to attractions. The building is also quite secure. The bar downstairs is a great place to hang out in the evening. The wifi worked pretty well in the lobby area. The breakfast was not good and I would save your money and get something elsewhere. The rooms are huge, but if you face the small quad area, it is noisy in the mornings.

Location was great, people were friendly. The bathrooms were some of the less glamourous I´ve come across, but they are still okay.

Great hostel, friendly staff and location. The early noise restriction in the courtyard is a great idea, but not very strictly enforced!

I stayed one night in a 4-bed dorm on level 1. The room was huge and even included a table, two chairs and a small balcony. The wifi signal was strong and (from memory) the floor was quiet. There is an elevator (always a plus) and a large courtyard though this closes around 10pm. The toilets and showers were filthy and definitely need more consistent cleaning or to be updated altogether.

Good location right near the tv tower. We had our own room which was nice and used shared bathroom. Showers didn't look very clean and not many shared toilets. Staff weren't overly helpful. You had to ask a lot of questions to get info out of them.

Hostel was fairly close to the main sights. The staff were very friendly and more than willing to help out with anything you need. Wifi only in the lobby and it's not to crash hot when there are heaps of people on it. Best times to use it is late at night or early mornings. Will stay again!

The showers and bathrooms were very clean everyday. Also, when we arrived there were fresh linens on our bunks to use. Two negatives I have about city stay are one of the front desk workers with glasses that is skinny and tall was very rude! He would not help you with any of your questions and would talk down to you when you have a question. Also, the wifi only works if you sit right next to the front desk.

Brilliant Hostel in an excellent location with brilliant facilities, the only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms but we could live with that. After staying in a previous hostel we would really recommend this to anyone saying in Berlin

Staff were rude and not helpful at all.

Hostel was good if you're young and want to meet new people.

This place was very nice to stay at, even though I was on a tour, you still meet people easily. The bar was cheap and the place is easy to find your way to. The outdoor setting is lovely and it was clean and safe to stay at. Only downer is some of the staff were rude blunt.

Very noisy even when bar outside closed. Also very early cleaning staff make heaps of noise in courtyard at 7.30! Other than this was great.

Cool hostel located in a good area

WiFi was not available in rooms only the downstairs common area which actually made thearea quite unsociable

Cleanliness was impeccable. Toilets and showers were always outstandingly clean as well as communal areas. Very off putting that you had to pay for bedding. Stayed all over Europe and this was the only place that charges for bedding. Ridiculous fee. Rooms were really nice. Wifi only in common areas which is annoying as it makes the downstairs unsociable Could do with a better organised luggage room - it was mayhem Needs security within the room EG safe box or drawers to put padlocks on

Room was nice and it was spacious. Good laundry service, best one I've had my whole trip so far. The toilets were never clean. Always toilet paper on the floors and the bowls were pretty dirty. Wifi worked no where unless you were in the lounge area against the front wall. It was terrible! Good location and good little bar. Pretty good stay overall

The hostel is pretty big and it functions more as a dormitory. It has all kinds of services, like a bar, breakfast, etc. but it is not home-like, there is not kitchen were you can cook, or fridge to keep your things. So it depends what you're looking for, it is great but for instance personally I prefer the more homy type of hostels. It has a big yard which is nice. It is always full of people in the common spaces. The location is great, just next to Alexanderplatz, couldn't be better.

Great social area and bar. Staff were mostly nice. Rooms are hot and desperately need fans. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly. Some people got stuff stolen and I had a stranger open my room door in the middle of the day for no reason as the beds were already cleaned. Use the lockers.
