An adequate budget hotel for a short stay to visit Petra.
We were very pleased with Cleopetra Hostel, which was a good base from which to explore Petra. Some particularly good features were the free/anytime shuttle service to Petra, wifi in the bedrooms, and the water pressure in the showers - which was the best we had had in Jordan. Mosleh was exceptionally helpful, arranging transport to Aqaba for us, and (when we struggled to do it from our next hotel), a very good overnight trip to Wadi Rum.
I enjoyed my stance there, is a good place to stay

Clean, very nice staff, nice buffet dinner, great value for money.
Absolutely outstanding hotel manager, who is truly interested in the well being of its patrons. Felt very at home here after only three nights. Rooms were clean with en suite bathroom. Also the first room with a double bed that we were able to get in Jordan. Good meals, optional home cooked dinners, and help arranging onward buses, tours, etc. Hotel is about a 15 -20 minute walk from the Petra entrance, but offers drop- off service.
Very nice and accommodating staff. Breakfast was pretty good. Accomodations themselves weren't anything super special but were clean and adequate.
Best service I have received at a hostel/hotel in a long time. Cannot recommend the place highly enough, great value for money. They should sell their rooftop view as well, its a pretty decent view!
Clean, comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Cleopatra Hotel was very nice and comfortable. The owner was very helpful, helping us to plan much of the rest of our time in Jordan, from cabs and transportation to stays in different hotels and our trip to Wadi Rum. Everything he planned was safe and good, so I have no complaints there, although maybe it was a bit pushy? Lovely man, though. Anyways, the hostel was more of a hotel, with private rooms etc, but it was a very nice hotel. I very much enjoyed our stay there.
Had a lovely time at cleopetra. We got to the hotel at 11, well before check-in, but were able to get into our room when we got there. The staff also gave us a ride to the entrance to Petra and arranged a cheap taxi back to Aqaba for us. The buffer dinner (only 6jd!) was fantastic, although breakfast was a bit sparse. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful.
Cleopetra is the best place to stay in Wadi Musa! The staff are fantastic (particularly Mosleh!), it's clean and very comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, the location is good, and it has a friendly atmosphere. They also drive you to the Visitor's Centre (from where you start your exploration of Petra) in the morning, anytime you want, free of charge! We really appreciated this because some places will only take you at set times. In short, Cleopetra is a great place to stay!
Had a great stay! Wonderful staff that helped us book an awesome overnight stay in Wadi Rum for a fair price. They will drop you off at the entrance to Petra in the morning for free. Excellent breakfast as well!
Great place. I cannot overemphasize how helpful Mosleh is, but here are a few examples to prove my case: 1) I left my adaptor in Amman. He said he had one to give me but apologized profusely when it was missing because it had been given to another visitor 2) As a solo female traveler, I decided on a whim to head to Wadi Ru; he set up a trip with nice guys my age from a hostel down the road, as well as a ride back to Amman 3) he spent forever trying to get my jett bus $ back after I canceled.
