Security: Just ok. Location: In the middle of the town, just almost next to the local bus. Staff: Really friendly, helpfull and sociable! Atmosphere: Super. Met a lot of nice people there. Cleanlineness: The kitchencases were smelling a bit, but further was the hostel cleaned well. Value For Money: Good in balance. Facilities: According to the location and the common room, good.

The female staff member was extremely rude. This is the only hostel in Clifden, so I don't think a negative review will change anything, but I was appalled by her attitude towards us. I would say avoid spending the night here if possible. My whole 2 days there was spoiled because of my one run-in with this staff member.

Nice well run Hostel with riendly staff and excellent location. Kitchen too small. Could do with some extras like extra hooks in shower for hanging towels/ clothes, individual bedside lights which would make it more comfortable. Dormitories small with no storage space but beds comfortable. Would stay again.

Nice place for a short stay, located on the main street, close to restaurants. Nice and helpfull staff. However the fact that kitchen is closed before 8 a.m. might be a disadvantage if you need to leave early. Overall it's ok for one or two nights.

Friendly hosts, nice dining room, kitchen quite small
