My cabin on the cliff was pretty worn down, and had plenty of ants (though that was probably due to the previous tenant). On the plus side, no holes in the mosquito net, and once I managed to get the fan working it made for a comfortable night's sleep. Great location if you're looking for quiet, and sime spectacular views. The owner was super helpful as well.

We booked on hostelworld for one night and what a deception. 400bath for a miserable wooden bungalow including a mosquito net all of hole! When we enter in the bungalow we start to laugh thinking it was a joke. We decide to run away,of course the manager didnt want to give us back our monney for a room where we stay a few seconds... i know a lot of people book there cause there the only one on bangbao being in hostelworld, but he takes advantage from that. You can find much better and cheapest

Nice place with a good view. But the beach was kind of far, maybe 30minutes walking, which is no fun in the hot sun and kind of dangerous at night. The room was basic but comfortable, however bathrooms are at the bottom of the hill and your hut is at the top a bit of a mission if you need to pee in the middle of the night.

The best part of this place is the staff and food. Sean is an excellent host and gave me great recommendations about the island. The Thai staff is friendly and they cook amazing food. I enjoyed the coconut curry with chicken and banana pancakes! Stayed in a basic bungalow, but I had a nice sleep with the ocean breezes nearby. The bathroom area was too far from the room and when I open the room window, there’s no security screen or louvers. Otherwise, I was satisfied and would stay here again.

Really the only good thing about the place is the view. It's far from most stuff on the island, and it takes you a few tries to actually navigate the winding path into town. They could use some clearer instructions about that. The food is vastly overpriced compared to the restaurants in town, the staff has a little friend circle that you seem to intrude upon by having a question or needing service. Our bungalow's windows did not close, was very tilted, and the mosquito net had holes.

Fantastic hostel - we had a private cabin with bathroom. Really chilled out atmosphere, great food, gorgeous sunsets, you can rent bikes & kayaks and go on diving trips. Would definitely recommend.

The room and restaurant were clean; however, we didn't have wifi or a television in our room which was a disappointment. The view from the restaurant, as well as its atmosphere, were pleasant but inconveniently located if you want to walk around or eat at the pier.

Cliff Cottage was a nice place to stay. We were happy with the accommodations, though bare, as well as the food and atmosphere. We also dove with Scuba Dawgs for two days (and a friend did her open water course), and they were great (though I don't think Koh Chang's diving sites are remarkable). The only real complaint we had was the Cottage's location to the beach (had to take a relatively expensive taxi there)

The hostel was nice and quiet, although a long way from the nearest town. Stayed one night, but staff were friendly and seemed to be helpful to other people who wanted to book tours and travel.

Cliff Cottages grew on me. I arrived in the dark and my little bungalow at the top of some very steep steps, with little security was a little spooky. but when I woke up in the morning and saw that I was on a bluff overlooking the Sea, I was pleased (especially at $10/night. The latrines are at the bottom of the steep steps - tough for those who have to use them in the wee hours (no pun intended.) Also, they are right next to the kitchen, and there is a sewage odor. Loved the lodge and Sean.

It is a very nice place, very quiet, beautiful creek for sunset and good place for few hours of snorkelling. Only comment is to go there, if you go by walk from the floating village with big bags, ask for a pick up shuttle! Staff is great, room (with personal toilets and bathroom) are enough to spend the night (no TV, no WIFI etc in rooms) and was cleaned every day with new towels.

It was one of the best experiences of my life! The owner Sean is fantastic person! i arrived there and had reserved a basic hot. I would've taken. He saw that I wasn't so excited about it. And found me a place next-door to make me happy with air conditioning. Even though many of his units have air-conditioning they were full. I also find out that he has two wonderful scuba diving boats. Also, a dive school. I ended up doing seven on his boats. I've been diving since I'm 14 years old which is a

Stayed in a wee cliff to bungalow. Was great. Amazing setting with the sunset. Quite 'rugged' accomodation, not fancy, but its great for a chill and to go diving etc.
