A fantastic option for budget travellers. The staff are incredibly warm and accommodating, and will help you with anything you need at all, be that directions, recommendations, or drivers (big shout out to Fouad, Andrew, George and Abdul!). It's also a great place to meet other backpackers. The location of the hostel is great and is within five minutes walk of some great places to eat, like Hashem, Jafra, and Habibah. I'd recommend Cliff Hotel to everyone travelling on a budget.

Decent rooms with firm matresses (which I love) and fairly clean rooms. Bathrooms could have done with a cleaning session but wasn't too bad. Showers bit problematic but works anyway. Staff very friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is located in the middle of downtown and across Hashem restaurant (go there for dinner!) it's a perfect budget option to start your trip in Amman.
