The room was very nice, typical like be at the lovely old aunt. Our hosts were lovely, and very hospitable and kind. Sad, that the house is a bit far from the city center.

An excellent place to stay. Michael and Mary went out of their way to make us welcome offering us a drink on arrival and every time we returned to the hostel during our stay. No request was too much bother for them. When they found out that we were on the late bus back to Dublin Airport they kindly offered their facilities for the evening. If we are ever staying in the Limerick area again, we will have no hesitation in booking at Clifton Guesthouse.

Breakfast and room good. Building needs refurbishing. Proprietor very helpful.

My single en suite room was excellent ...Very comfortable bed.. .. Multi channel TV.... Tea and Wi Fi in Lounge. Offered tea on arrival and at bedtime .. stayed for 2 nights ....

uWe knew, from previous reviews that the hotel was in decline but we were not prepared for the roof repairs going on and the scaffolding all around waht was once a lovely building. It is obviously a failing concern. There were hardly any guests staying apart from ourselves, and we only met Michael the proprietor who appears to be receptonist, waiter and cook. On the plus side, the breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. The house has obviously been glorious in the past, now it is very shabby

Owners are some of the kindest people I have ever met; I couldn't have felt more welcome on my first trip to Ireland. Nice, cozy rooms.
