Thank you Clink261! I had a wonderful stay in your hostel--I was impressed with how clean it was and with how helpful and welcoming the staff were. The location could not be more perfect, and for everything that was provided, it was great value for money. The kitchen facilities were particularly good, the showers were warm, the beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was great. I will definitely recommend this hostel to my friends. Thanks!

Good hostel. Only criticisms: rooms were poorly ventilated and smelt like school changing rooms, and the wifi wasn't free.

You guys are very clear of your rules and policies unlike some other hostels, i appreciate the employees at the reception desk. they where helpful, kind and attentive and even told my friends and i of a harry potter studio outside the city and booked it for us at the last minute. thanks a million, i highly recommend this place for other backpacker travelers and it is good to know that clink 261 is near the train station too.

Atmosphere was great, but room was very small with a lot of beds crammed into little space. People were walking in and out at all hours making it little difficult to sleep.

Clink 261 is a great hostel for backpackers looking for somewhere to stay that is safe, informative and in a great location to catch the Eurostar. I found the hostel lacked the friendly, personal atmosphere that I've found in other places. But this could be because of the sheer number of people they have staying there at one time. I also found the rooms a little small. However, the staff were very helpful and the facilities at the hostel are great. Would stay here again!

Very handy location, close to loads of tube lines and bus routes so possible to travel to anywhere in London. Pricy for a hostel but thats standard for London and the location more than makes up for this. Staff were always friendly and helpful and kept the hostel very clean. Downstairs lounge was nice and kitchen was a decent size. Only downside was that the wi-fi is not free which was a bit unexpected but overall very happy with my stay and would recommend this place to other travellers.

The location is perfect, right down the steet from Kings Cross, right in the center where you can easily walk to so many sights. That being said, there are no lockers in the rooms, no wifi, very thin and uncomfortable mattresses, and the room I was in didn't look like it had been cleaned in days; this may have been due to a long-term guest in the corner. On the bright side the kitchen and common room are very cool, and the pink-haired girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

The best thing in the hostel is probably the kitchen (and the staff!) , it has everything to allow a good meal in the evening, saving us some money :) The only thing it could need a little "review" would be the group bedrooms, such as a deep clean and some bigger individual lockers.

Very clean, showers are very good and the kitchen was nice and big. Some rooms seem to let in a lot of noise though. Very close to Kings Cross Station, which is very handy.

Good: Friendly staffs with great attitude. Good location near to st.Pancras and king's cross station. Bad: Very noisy even during midnight. Can't really have a good sleep.

The dorm was tiny. The mattress really thin and no lockers for anything. Thanks for the clean showers though!

There was an argument in our room at about 4 in the morning and it was brought to the attention of the staff but it wasnt handled well. The staff member just told everyone to go back to bed. It felt very unsafe after that. Also when we returned to our room on the second day, there was a blanket on my bed with blood on it that didnt belong to me. More supervision is needed by the staff.
