Change the shower if possible. Use cold and hot water instead of hot water alone..

Staff were helpful. Dorms were a little crowded, but well designed (privacy screens on bunks & individual reading lights). It's a little further from King's Cross than the other Clink hostel, but well worth the extra walking.

Really great stay! My room was clean and comfortable enough. The atmosphere here is excellent. It's a really great hostel if you're looking to meet other travelers (especially if you're traveling alone!). The bar is fun as well. They have activities every night. The only real downside is that you have to pay for internet. I wouldn't recommend this hostel for people looking for quiet or for families. It's definitely youth oriented.

There was just something about this hostel that I wasn't happy about. Yes, It is clean, the facilities are good and the staff are nice, it was just something overall about the atmosphere. It is a massive hostel, the rooms are big enough for the amount of beds, but there isn't a security locker or free wifi which is annoying. Maybe it was just the time of year that I was staying there, but the general demographic of the Hostel seemed to be under 18 and over 40.

Clink78 was a cool place to stay. It was very close to King's Cross Station, so we could get anywhere in London relatively quickly and easily. We stayed in a private room, and it was nice. The bar and breakfast were also nice. Enjoyed the experience.

The shower in the Girls Deluxe room is terrible. The room is too cold, even after I complained. The second room I stayed was to small.

Disappointed to learn that the extra fee paid to the booking agents was not received by the hostel operators and that the booking agents appeared to be trading more on the brand of the accommodation providers rather than their own

Building is amazing, room was extremely clean and modern, staff very helpful and friendly, great breakfast facilities and so many activities going on. On the expensive side for a private room with ensuite but still worth it and highly recommended.

i stayed in the deluxe girls room but we shared a bathroom with all the girls, it would be nice if there would be a shelf under the mirror and above the sink, because the sinks are wet and the floor as well so a little shelf to put your stuff would be nice..

Staff were all very freindly and relaxed and this hostel is very clean with a great atmosphere. It was very convenient having the bar at the hostel. I would and have recommended this hostel to my friends!

Really need to improve the showers !! I had like 30% of hot water during mine... and two showers for one floor isn't enough! Outlets in the shower room could be a real plus. I did love the computer room and thank god there was an elevator !

I've booked 3 hostels in London, this one was definitely an under performance. The location is horrible and it's not that near from King's Cross Station.A vodka bottle was left on my bed when I checked in.The bed itself was not comfortable. The room was stinky and noisy.

I stayed here for one night on NYE so I can't give the most well-informed review, but what I experienced was a good hostel - comfy beds (not sure why people complain about the bunk system, it's fine), easy to find from King's Cross/St. Pancras Station, breakfast was good, and I was happily surprised with how quiet the streets were, especially for NYE! No problems going to sleep! Friendly and helpful staff too! ₤55 is a fair bit, but it was NYE after all and it was cheaper than other places.

This is a typical big London hostel that is good for big groups. As a solo traveler I wouldn't recommend it. It is too hard to meet people and it doesn't have a great friendly atmosphere. The staff were extremely rude and unpleasant. The beds are a little claustraphobic but also good for privacy if tight spaces don't bother you.

Bunks really weird, I had a hard time being on the top bunk; no wifi in the room; extremelly small locker in the room, couldn't fit my iPad; hostel was like a labirynth, could never find my way to my room or out of it. Luggage storage way to far from reception. could never find the lifts. Staff was not particularly helpful or friendly. long walk from king's cross. Cold showers and too small, few places to hang anything, water would wet all my clothes. Not the best, but clean, safe and cool bar
