This was my first stay in a dorm and was sceptical about the levels of safety, privacy and the kind of co-travellers that i may encounter that this hostel. Clink 78 proved to be an excellent choice in all of the above.

Very nice for a hostel however we didn't sleep well since there was no AC.

when i got there the bed that was assigned to me was in use.there´s another one that was free so i went to the reception desk to inform of the situation and ask for a change. none of the girls working there paid any attention to me and they just said "well change beds then". that night i was awaken in a really bad manner by some sort of "hostel bodyguard" as if i were usurping sth. truth was that the bed belonged to a guy whose bed had been cleaned up & the stuff he´d left on his bed,STOLEN.

The only problem was that the staff didn't enforce the 'dont smoke on the front step' policy. So when I am hanging out in the lobby, there would be a constant breeze of cigerrate smoke.

Good value for money but the room smelt TERRIBLE; I don't think it had been aired out for months.

We stayed very well in the hostel, but there was little space and the bathroom smelt quite bad. The breakfast was very good and there was a bit noisy with the music. But it was a fantastic experience to stay a weekend.

I stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe Girls dormitory, 14 beds in total. I really liked that the 1st floor was only dedicated to female guests, the decoration is cute and you see that the staff really wanted to create a comfort space for the girls. Every bed is separated by a wooden board so you have a bit privacy. Breakfast is really good, the staff is very nice and you value for your money. In not even 10 minutes you arrive at Kings Croos station by foot. I seriously recommand this hostel!

Need a better breakfast menu. Toast and cereal isn't breakfast. Eggs would be nice.

The Hostel had great security and a great breakfast. The rooms were kind of small and awkwardly arranged, but the breakfast made up for it. The staff was okay. Not extremely friendly, but not unfriendly.

Breakfast was very good, staff kept it flowing despite the volume of people. The room key had a tendency to stop working but it was a quick fix Alot of character to the building and hostel; the old court house has been converted into a funky place to stay whilst keeping alot of the features.

It was like a prison camp, except with more beds crammed into the 'cells'. Not cool (literally, it was so hot I couldn't sleep). Would not recommend or ever visit again

My brief stay was very enjoyable. The staff was terrific, great Clash Bar and the rooms/bathrooms/showers were very clean. I loved the character/history of the building itself and was well located, extremely close to bus access and the tube.

I was not lucky at all as my room was located just in front of the only smoking area and the kitchen. I think you can imagine the noise!! But also, we couldn't really close the old window to protect us from the cold during the night. I suggest you transform the rooms in the basement in something else than bedrooms. For the rest, it's ideally located from the St Pancras Station and other nice streets from Islington and Angel.
