We walked everywhere in London from this hostel. It has a great vibe and is right next to King's Cross station. Only downside is that Wifi is only available in the common rooms, which was disappointing.
Really enjoyed it and good value for money

They know what they're doing and they do it well. Grade A. Staff fluctuate between very cool and okay. Location is walking biking to everything and monster mover Pancras is 5 minutes walk. Recommend
Great base for walking or catching the tube in central London. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and spacious enough, I really enjoyed my time.
A good hostel. Great location and great staff. However, a lack of maintenance on some of the facilities really ruins the appeal of the place. For 2 levels to not have one shower where the lock on the door works is pretty appalling. No wifi in the rooms is also a big negative. That being said, it has a great bar and cool atmosphere, a success as far as London hostels go.
All around very nice hostel. Staff was very nice and helpful, sockets everywhere and the bunks are absolutely ok. Bar, Breakfast, Kitchen and Travel Shop are also a big plus. Showers and toilets could be a little better, since you don't have a lot of hangers for your stuff. Loacted very central. Would definetly recommend it to others.
Really lively, probably easy to meet people, I only stopped a night though just passing thru. Very clean
Great Hostel.....far better than the hostel after,Pub Love at the Crown an absolute dump of a hostel with the worst staff imaginable.
Really nice facilities and friendöy staff with a great atmosphere. However seeing that the hostel was quite expensive, it would have been great to at least have lockers in the room for my luggage (there were tiny lockers for passports etc) but the room was really a mess with peoples bags everywhere when i first walked in. Other than that, a great place to stay!!
Great security, wonderful helpful staff, bed configuration and style is some of the best- great privacy for a hostel!
This hostel was not our style at all. Loud, horrible vibe, no wifi in room which made everyone fight for limited outlets and seats in very uncomfortable court rooms, our room smelled like cheese threw up, not allowed to cook own breakfast, staff was rude and unhelpful, showers didn't work, bathrooms stunk, location was sketchy, door slammed in our dorm, no lockers in room...Everything was just awful, I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.
I actually didn't stay at the hostel so I can't comment on it.
I didn't realize how big this place was until I went into the kitchen. Like most hostels, it's organized chaos in there but WOW the sheer amount of people. Still, I was always able to find a seat. Really well kept hostel. The front desk staff were always so fun and helpful.

Probably more of a bit bad luck than a characteristic of the hostel, but the people at staying at the hostel were very aloof. Seemed like quite a few people were there awaiting more permanent accommodations in London, and stayed at clink78 in the meantime. As a solo traveller, that didn't make me want to hang out there; as there weren't people willing to chat. Staff was helpful. One downside was seemed like my linens were already used and the bed wasn't cleaned before I checked in.
Everyone was very friendly—I had been traveling by myself for 10 days so it was nice to socialize a bit. My main disappointment was that the wifi didn't extend to the rooms (at least it didn't extend to mine, an all female dorm); it was only available in the common areas. There also weren't a ton of outlets in the room (4 for max 12 people), but we didn't have a problem sharing them. All in all—it was pretty cheap, pretty comfortable, and a short walk to King's Cross. Would stay again.
The management should seriously consider to check on their facilities from time to time, I mean is this Bagdad or London? It's a shame to see such a beautiful hostel with such a great history having its reputation wrecked by a lack of daily maintenance. If you guys aren't able to run the place, please check and learn from the other hostels around. Btw it was raining during the 3 nights of my stay and you didn't put the sun on my face.
very close to kings cross station and right out front is a bus stop that takes you right to a lot of the major attractions and museums. the place was constantly being cleaned. the kitchen was also well equipped. I spent my time hanging out with friends from back home who were staying in other hostels so I cant really comment on the atmosphere. there were a few families with children but everyone did seem like they were having a blast.
Great hostel. Would stay here again. Good value for the money. Few small complaints, which are that the bigger rooms are insanely crowded. I stayed in a 12 person dorm, and no one could move around freely. Other hostels I've stayed at have had much larger rooms for the same amount of people. Also, the showers smell terrible and aren't the greatest. Have a push button which you need to push every 20 seconds. Great bar though. Would stay here again based on that alone. Meet people quite easily.
