Overcrowded. Approximately 700 beds. Not many toilets / bathrooms. No free Internet (already expected - they say it). One of the roommates was there for 2 days, and when other people arrived, the hostel staff told him to change his room once he 'had not checked in'. I probably will not stay there for a second time.

Absolutely class!! I've travelled around a lot and spent a lot of times in hostels and this one definitely ranks close to the top. Really friendly staff, really cool funky environment...and most importantly the bar doesn't close untill 3am! BOOM! Clink78 was awesome.

You have to pay for wi-fi. And since it's a very big hostel, it is also crowded. You can notice it in the breakfast. Other than these it's quite good.

Very busy, fun atmosphere. This is not the hostel for you if you want peace and quiet.

Average hostel: Packed with teens, expensive for what it is: No free wireless, Average bed, kind of noisy... The good point is the localization. Other then that...

My stay in the hostel was really good. I was in a 14 bed room, only for girls. Despite the fact the room was not so tidy, I had a nice time in there. The weather was actually really cold and most of the nights the heating was almost off, so it was sometimes difficult to sleep because of the wet room. The breakfast was nice, always plenty of food so you can have a great start at the mornings.

I stayed here because it was right near Kings Cross station. The rooms were quality, and very tidy, there just wasn't much atmosphere, even in the bar. Everything felt a bit sterile. The lockers above the bed are a good idea, except you couldn't fit a laptop in there. Free breakfast was good, except it was so crowded. Most of the front desk staff were really helpful, one girl went out of her way to give me directions and bus routes! Not the place to meet new people though.

Good hostel. Only complaint was school groups took over the breakfast room (not necessarily their fault - there were just so many school kids everywhere) - they should really have been accommodation elsewhere.

A warm welcome at reception and the staff member dealt with my request of a bottom bunk with ease. The room was warm clean and the bed was very comfortable ideal after a day exploring the sights of London

Security a bit lower because the locker in your room is not big enough for a laptop. I liked the breakfast and it was easy to meet people at this time. Staff were friendly (some more than others). Great location close to King's Cross tube/rail station. Don't stay in the basement if you want to sleep as it is close to the bar. I found it clean, just it can get messy in the rooms as they are small and have no shelves for things. Would stay again though.

Love this hostel! We were so sad to leave! The staff was wonderful, helpful and very kind. It was our first hostel experience and it could not have been better. Met tons of amazing travelers and had no problem feeling comfortable and at home. The bar downstairs made our experience outstanding. The only downside the the entire place was that there was no where to put your bag in the rooms, a locker under the bed would be great.

There was really nothing special about this hostel, the decor was nice in the public spaces, but other than that the space was pretty normal. I HATED that you had to pay for internet, and could ONLY use the internet in the common spaces of the hostel. I paid 3 pounds for internet which is unheard of. Make sure to bring shower show and don't bring anything beside a towel to the shower because that's all there is space for (not even a soap holder is in the shower). The location is not all of that.

Clink78 is the best place to spend your nights in London, especially for young (18-27) people! And the breakfast... are excellent! :)

Staff made us feel really comfortable at hostel. Specially Miriam - Spanish girl - who was tremendously helpful and really nice. We loved her attention and the way she was always smiling at our thousand questions. Thanks to everyone for your help and attention.
