The 6-bed dorm room was bad. Unclean, mattresses were paper thin. The lights in the women's bathroom, (second floor) were broken. Also the shower room looked more like a murder room, don't know if that can be fixed. Location is five to ten minutes walk from the main train station in the opposite direction of the old part of town, so if that's what you came to Prague to see, I'm sure you can find better. The free breakfast is the only thing this place has going for it.

Very poor rest room and toilet, old and not-well managed spaces between rooms and reception. No cooking facilities. Bad bed stuff, like uncomfortable pillow and linen.

The perfect place. Not directly ni the center but so close (3 tram stops). Really cheap. The staff is friendly. Also they give you a map of Prague which is very convenient. Around the hostel there are all the good bars, and every commodities you would need (shops, restaurants, automat to buy tram/metro ticket...). We really enjoy staying there

It's a correct hostel, with nice guys. There is a bar under the hostel where you can drink a beer during the night and in the morning eat your breakfast. The atmosphere in here is quite good. But the rooms/ kitchen equipments quality are poor, so one or maximum two night it's ok, but nothing more.

Hostel staff was nice and accommodating, but the atmosphere was bland (probably due to off season), location was and recent walk to city center and the hostel smelled of cigarettes. Staff tried to make things better, but it wasn't really there fault or anything they could fix for me. I'm sure this place is better in the summer.

We really loved staying at Clown and Bard... it's relatively close to the city centre, there are many bars and restaurants around the hostel, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was just great. Our room (double ensuite) was very big and great value for money. We also appreciated the breakfast for only 2 Euros. The only thing we did not like was the bed, but for two nights it was okay... Would definitely recommend this hostel to my friends!
