Basically fine but nothing special. The supposed jacuzzi/sauna is not usable because it is not maintained at all. The WiFi had some problems and works ok when its there but is sometimes down for however long it takes to come back. Beds are ok but they are triple deckers and there is no ladder to get into the upper bunks. Also the ensuite bathroom floods the room with light if anyone uses it during the night. Staff was very helpful however, so that helps. Ok but not great.
My shared room was poorly-ventilated (there was a window to the interior hallway, but the co-occupants insisted on keeping it closed) and stuffy, and being on the third bunk waaay up next to the ceiling was a little scary, but the rooms were clean and the location was decent. A fine place to stay in a pinch, but I wouldn't want to stay here long. GREAT restaurant across the street though!
We didn't enjoy our stay in this hostel very much. The staff were friendly however the hostel wasn't especially clean. We had a dead roach in our bathroom and big spiders in our room. The room smelt musty and had no outside windows. The kitchen was small and the equipment was on the verge of being useless. We didn't bother to get involved with the free breakfast as it wasn't very inviting.
Friendly staff though some of the staff cannot speak English. Decent rooms and breakfast is good with nice crispy rolls and dulce de leche spread or jam.
