Amazing place full of wonderful staff, clean bedrooms and a great social area. Great kitchen/garden. Quite simply the best hostel in Amsterdam. Cool cat too.

Awesome place! Stuffs are very nice and helpful! No better choice than here if you can squeeze in. No elevator cause it's old building. good environment and feel like home! Stuffs are very nice - they won't clean the room if there is people sleep

Good things: you don't need to know! Downsides are more interesting: in the 6 bed mixed dorm there's no vital space to move around, upper beds are a little uncomfortable to access. Personally I don't like moquette on the floors. Bathroom indaroom is not a plus in my opinion....

Highly recommend this hostel. Comfy beds, great location and friendly staff. Good deal on bike rentals and staff organize fun events for guests to get to know each other.

The hostel is in a great area of Amsterdam, and the staff are incredibly helpful. It has a really nice vibe with the downstairs kitchen/living area and courtyard. Be aware there is a cat that lives there, and if you are allergic, bring some antihistamines. Also do not even bother with the pub crawl, it is heinous.

If your coming to Amsterdam you must stay here! Te most comfy beds, and homely rooms, lovely staff and great cooking facilities and lounge area. I've stayed in a lot of hostels this year and by far this has been the best! I'm a female travelling alone and found it great to meet people but not too "boozy" and crazy!

Had a fantastic trip - best kitchen of any hostel I have stayed in, nice secluded garden and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming (special mention to Janine for being nice about my pasta!). All in all, highly recommended!

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hostel and clean and had a great kitchen/common room downstairs. Great location. Not in the heart of party town, but close enough to all major attractions.

We loved our stay! The location was a great first impression: authentic and not touristy. The staff was so friendly. The vibe was chill, relaxed and open. We loved the common room with the cat

Had an amazing stay at Cocomama, would definitely recommend to anyone I know and come across. Staff was amazing and very accommodating, the only thing that bummed me out was that they offer a laundry service and when I had asked about it they said it wouldn't be wise for me to do it because it most likely wouldn't get finished. Sooo had some dirty laundry going into Spain, but honestly I could've asked earlier and probably gotten it done but I tend to procrastinate. All in all loved it.
