The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel is nice, clean and quiet. I'd really enjoy the garden. In one word, i felt like if I was in a vacation house with my friend and friends of my friends. The only bad point I've seen is that the bathroom/toilets is in the room. That means, when you are in a room for 6 and you wake up all at the same time, you will have to wait for having a shower a while...

The attention of the staff and the quiet location are the big pluses of this hostel. Thank you for a nice stay!

Excellent first experience of a hostel. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone staying here. Friendly and relaxed staff, super comfy beds, clean and welcoming place to stay. Loved it!

We had a great time at your hostel, though there were a few bumps we found. 1. The honesty bar wasn't stocked very well. 2. Someone stole our new juice from the communal refrigerator (the only thing we put in the fridge in a week!). 3. The employees were lovely, though they didn't seem very interested in helping you planning your activities and were absent more than present at the desk. 4. You need to have a policy that guests lock the door when leaving their room, it doesn't lock on its own.

If you want to be in a location just outside of the super touristy area, and in a clean safe and charming neighborhood, then this is the place for you. You can still walk to all of the tourist attractions, but you get a little more feel for the local culture staying here as opposed to the middle of tourist central. This was such an awesome choice, and i would recomend it to anyone!

The staff is the prize of the establishment; I can't say enough. Love the cleanliness of the kitchen. Love the vibe love the place. Highly recommended!!

Traveling around Europe for 6 weeks and this has, hands down been the best place we have stayed so far. The location is awesome, very quiet at night and not far from downtown. When you get there, one of the staff greets you and gives you all the information you will need. They are all very nice and very helpful. This hostel has a very cozy feel to it as well. The beds are incredibly comfy. They don't serve breakfast, but they have a kitchen where you are free to cook. Awesome place. Stay here!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at CocoMama. Everyone was super friendly and our room was in great condition. We rented the private en suite and it was by far the best room I've ever had in a hostel. I recommend this to anyone, especially a couple. It was decorated very well and the mattress was unbelievably comfortable. It was about a 25 minute walk to Red Light, so I would strongly recommend getting familiar with the rail cars. Your feet will appreciate it. Thumbs Up, We will Be Back!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in

Very nice. The owner is very dedicated to her hostel. The best kitchen I seen in any hostel. The only comment is that the activity at night don't always happen, so if you are travailing alone do not count on them to meet new people. But otherwise 100% recommendation!!

Great atmosphere, nice rooms, amazing staff

Bathroom a bit cold but the rest of it are excellent. Very well kitchen and utensils. Very nice common room. Friendly, helpfully and nice staffs. Cocomama is very good choice of stay in Amsterdam. Please note that hostel is not suitable for handicap.

Really lovely location, so easy to walk everywhere and you see lots of different parts of Amsterdam. Well maintained and friendly. Very quiet for a hostel in Amsterdam.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff!

The bed is rather comfortable and little wider than the average. The kitchen/living room is well decorated with a outdoors garden.The really nice thing of this hostel is that they stop partying at 12:00 at night so there will not be much noise after midnight. However, if you are a early sleeper, I would definitely not recommend you live on the ground floor--- the common room is just downstairs and the party noise(before 12 o'clock) makes it hard to fall asleep.

Fantastic hostel with lovely and helpful staff. Nice room and ensuite, with shower bigger than I've had in some hotels. Great communal kitchen and lounge area makes you feel at home. They even supply free rice and pasta for cooking. The cute hostel cat tops it all off! Definitely stay here, you won't regret it.

Absolutely lovely people running an absolutely lovely hostel.

I can't think of a single negative thing about this place.
