Good location and nice staff. There was not always someone at front desk though. The room was nice and good shower, but the wifi was awful. Overall ok, potential to be a great hostel but a few things need fixing.
Great location, super clean rooms, and amazing shared kitchen. The 'no partying' rule was a bit weird - especially as at 10pm even in the shared kitchen we were told there were complaints about the noise from us having a chilled out couple of drinks before heading out for the evening - but i guess if i was there on business i'd have been that guy! All in all, a great hostel - and really helpful friendly staff. And despite the rules, met plenty of great people here.
The Hostel has a nice location and nice modern rooms. It's quiet enough and not a party type hostel. One thing to mention - the ZOB bus station currently doesn't exist as I write this - so it's not possible to get a long distance bus from cologne. The reception didn't know this...but I think it's important to know!
You need to walk a little while from the central station, but it's worth it. Facility, staff, cleanness were all prefect.
The hostel was really really clean, the rooms were great and the bathrooms too! It is just a few minutes away from the cathedral.
They have a well equipped kitchen. Good wifi and very nice staffs. The bathroom is kind of hotel level which is good! But there are no individual socket or bed light. And it is strange that if you stay in a 8 beds room, you still need to instert your own key card at the room door to get the power.
Good location, comfy beds and clean facilities. Nice common area to socialise with fellow travellers as well, although there isn't a party vibe - you'll need to go out for that!
Basically a hotel. They didn't like the fact that a dozen of us travelers became friends and came back from going out and wanted to keep having a good time in the lobby. So that was lame. Other than that, very nice place for a relaxed stay. WIFI was a pain in the butt though. Seriously. I think my butt actually started hurting from the frustration.
The hostel was very clean with a very accommodating staff. Location is great, just a quick 5-10 minute walk to the central station and to the many bars.

The rooms were very clean and spacious with ample space to move about. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our requests. I enjoyed my two night stay here thoroughly.
Perfect location, clean and modern dorms, I really liked it. The wifi was free, but it would be better to have access to a computer for those who don't travel without their mobile phone or without a computer.

More like a hotel than a hostel. Clean, quiet, good location. If you're looking for a party atmosphere it's not here. Nice stay
Almost perfect. Just The Internet that fells in each 30 minutes, but I hope they fix it.
Atmosphere wise there was not much happening. The place is good value for money. Nice and comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Kitchen has got everything and pretty close to everything and they have a pizza shop and supermarket on the ground floor. Only issue I had was how the lights worked in the rooms. My roommate took his key card out and left while I was in the shower and I had to shower in the dark for 10 minutes and lounge can be improved to have social atmosphere.
The hostel at first was a little hard to find but centrally located once you knew where it was. The set up of our room was a little inconvenient as our beds were right next to lockers used by other people which resulted in being woken up multiple times during the night as one guest checked in at 11pm & then returned at 1:30am, shining a light directly into my eyes for 15 minutes while they sorted through their locker. Other than that, there are no complaints, the room was clean & comfortable.
This place is very schmick and modern, with nice big bathrooms and dorms. They were super clean upon arrival, but bathroom wasn't cleaned much during my stay. Wifi is good. Zero social atmosphere though. Limited, common areas that aren't really conducive to meeting people as a solo traveller. They dont organise any social activities. Convenient location near the main cathedral and on top of a supermarket, but no young-people clubs or bars nearby.
AMAZING hostel! Felt like I was in a hotel but with the "meet people" hostel atmosphere. The ensuite bathrooms were amazing, one of the best showers I've had all trip. Very sturdy beds, you can barely feel the top bunk person moving when you're on the bottom (which is rare). No breakfast but lots of free food and a grocery store right downstairs. Great location. Highly recommended!
