Colombo Airport Hostel @Negombo Beach Reviews

Very nice hostel, I had a very different experiement in this hostel, made new friends. just need locker and better management.

Great deal for the money. A tiny bit of a walk to the shops, beach restaurants on Negombo Road, but close enough. About a 50 Rupee tuk-tuk ride. Close to airport. The woman who runs it is really nice. Great atmosphere to meet other travelers. Felt very safe. Clean. Wifi. Spacious.

Nice owner, free breakfast(simple/typical lanka style: red tea+ bread), only fan in the bedroom, wifi was kinda weak, interesting hostel friends. wouldn't be the best hostel in town but still a nice hostel to stay for a couple of days.

Had a great stay! Close to the airport. Great place to stay if you are arriving late or leaving early. Pretty close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and help! Rooms and bathroom were very clean!

This Hostel is a really nice place to stay. The location is really good, about 5minutes to the beach and to some restaurants.. The house is really clean (in comparison to other places in Sri Lanka). The owner (a woman) takes care of everything but she is a little overchallenged. There where more bookings than beds and the people had to switch rooms all the time. We booked an airport pick up which didnt come. Her tour offers were more expensive than in the city ;) !

We have choosen this Hostel to take a part in one day trip from this hostel to Kandy, through Pinewalla, but even we booked it before, the trip was cancelled... hostel is really fine, for people who come in the evening and want to start the trip morning the next day it is just perfect stop. clean, nice staff, no lockers.

Nice hostel with real hostel charakter, free breakfast and free internet. A good and cheap option. The bathrooms are not well maintenaced.

Very nice hostel which I started my trip and also end my trip in Sri Lanka. Very close to the main street with pub and restaurants and also easy to get to the beach. Staff is nice and sometimes cook for us. Very easy to know people there and actually it's a cottage so feel like home.

There ware no keys for the rooms and the internet did not work. Some of the staff members were helpful. It was very hot in the room and although we had a fan, it did not help since we had to keep the windows closed because of the mosquitos so we had almost no air. We booked a double bed but got a bunk and a separate bed which was a bit less comfortable. There were ants in the room and they bite too. The shared bathroom was very clean though, so were the other common facilities. A nice balcony.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The lady who runs the hostel is absolutely amazing!! We refer to her as our "Sri Lankan Mum". She is so gorgeous and went to extremes to make sure our stay was a good one! The place is immaculate!! If you are flying out of Colombo airport it is a great idea to stay here the night before and not Colombo as it is so far away. The are some fun bars in the area and the airport is about 10- 15 mins away... around 600 rupees which the owner can organise!!
