Located in the metropolitan area of Kohuwala, the location of CCH makes it an attractive option for those intent on discovering the pleasures of Colombo or simply to break a long journey in its simple but stylish and comfortable surroundings.
CCH started by two friends is about 2 things - promoting Colombo to travelers and having a fun place where people can come hang out, rest well and exchange stories.
Across 4 dorm style unisex rooms, the Colombo City Hostel (CCH) offers 32 beds (8 per room) each with its own Secure Locker, Basic Bedding (bed sheet, covering sheet, pillow + case). Each room features Efficient Ceiling Fans and a Clean and Pleasant environment.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Colombo City Hostel. The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. The facilities at the hostel were good and the place is very secure and clean. The Hostel is slightly further away than some of the better known (full) hotels, but still well within a good distance of Colombo's main attractions. The Hostel has a good social atmosphere.

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
“Guests must check in between 12:00 and 23:00, and check out between 8:00 and 12:00. Early Check In is possible if beds available but please contact the Colombo City Hostel in this case.” And “If the booking is cancelled less than 1 day before arrival then a charge equal to 100% of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) no refund will be given.”
