Nice, secure hostel, all the rooms divide into 3 different houses. no breakfast, but coffee and tea! Rooms are averagly clean, littlelittle mold and dirt, but not too bad. Would stay again!

Buy beer from the staff. One bottle of Lion 625ml for 250 rupies was the best price around including the Cargills supermarket on Galle Rd. The beach is about 100 meters from the hostel.it's a public city beach so it isn't squeaky clean but it was ok. In early december, it wasn't crowded at all, mostly locals jumping in the waves and beach restaurants empty, probably waiting for the season to start or the weekend. There's a nice place to get coffee called Food Corner on De Saram Rd.

Not like a real hostel, loads of mosquitos, sanitary instalments not very clean and welcoming, wifi only in common area, only accessable though gate which is always closed and you have to wait for a staff member to open, more a homestay than a hostel, very very small

Friendly staff. Basic but for the price no complaints. Don't expect much and it'll be great.

Nice peaceful place to stay when you want easy access to a nice beach and Colombo City. Rooms are clean and there is a fan. You can also use the kitchen which allows you to cook your own dinner.

Lovely stay at a very homely hostel. Owner very welcoming and we were well looked after by her throughout our stay. Able to get bus into Colombo easily from here and also very good location for train down to west/south coast!

lovely stay on our first night. Very lovely covered terrace to sit out on and brilliantly kitted out kitched we could use. The owner couldn't be friendlier, making us a cup of tea and chatting to us in the morning with reccomendations of what to do during our month stay in Sri Lanka. She really made our stay and made us feel so welcome to Sri Lanka. Thanks!

Great place, very close to the beach. Plenty of beach restaurants around and a good overall spot to stay.

Guesthouse is cheap, very close to the beach, but far away from the old city. It is close to the train station (mount lavinia station, which is very helpful). There is a kitchen we could use and the staff is helpful. We arrived late at night and didn't have any problems.

i wouldnt recommend the place.dirty stuffy and the most important they dont give u toilet paper.the lady said because everybody steals it.is that for real??????maybe they use it.and there are no shops nearby in the evening to get anything so it s really annoying....and the hygiene of the bathroom is a joke itself...absolutely not.

I don't like to leave negative comments, however: We had to wait outside for 10 minutes not knowing what to do as the gate was locked and nobody could hear the doorbell. The room toilet was broken - and there was poop floating in it for two days. One of the upper beds we got, as we later discovered, was literally covered in a layer of sand. The room's floor was very dirty. The Internet went off the next morning without any effort to fix it. And the lockers are paid. Not worth even the low price.

I had a very nice stay there. The owner is friendly and Sriyani welcomes you with a huge smile. The accomodation are good, especially for this price. You feel great in the living room and the wifi really works.

I stayed a total of 10 nights and it was perfect. The staff is charming, and very helpful: the owner of the hostel, as well as Sriyanie, the lady that takes care of cleaning and cooking delicious curries, are always eager to give informations, advices, genuine care, and even soup when we are sick... The hostel is clean and comfortable, with a good wifi, and minutes away from the road and the beach. Staying there alone, I never felt lonely ! It was like staying in a home that welcomes everybody.
