Lovely friendly hostel. Great location at a reasonable price

Not a good place to start your travels in Sri Lanka. The staff speaks very poor english which makes it very difficult to plan the rest of your travels in Sri Lanka. It is very close to a beautiful beach, and several restaurants. I stayed one night then went to the Tropical Inn; the difference was like night and day.

Had a decent stay

Great place in Dehiwala, only 20min train ride from Colombo. Good place to meet people and hang out. There's a cool beach just across the street. The lady working there is a little bit crazy, but entertaining.

Good value for money in Colombo. The place is nice and close to the beach, although it is off the main road, it's near the train line, so you can hear the trains go by. There are lots of local eateries just up the road,which are cheap. The house is clean and lady and her family are friendly and help where possible. Just remember its about an hour and a half to two hours from the international airport.

I arrived there by taxi from Colombo. Neither the Taxi or tuk tuk could firstly find the hostel. The address was confirmed by local neighborhoods. I knocked at the door and someone opened telling there was no hostel there, I should try the other door a bit further. The same guy came out once again helling there was no hostel there and in the neighborhoods. The address was the one from the booking, no one picked up the phone when I called to confirm directions. I left for another hostel at 10pm.
