Colonial Lodge, a newly renovated 70 year old bungalow is your home away from home in Fiji's capital. We are located in a very quiet cul-de-sac street in the heart of Suva City. The bus station is just a three minute walk from the Lodge.
The Suva Market, where you will find the most attractive array of fresh fruits and vegetables in the world, is within close proximity. And you will also find the Village 6 Cinemas, the Suva Handicraft markets, international restaurants and pubs, Suva Museum, Suva Olympic Swimming Pool, Suva Fleamarket and other great bargain shopping in downtown Suva.
The most famous forest park in Fiji is 20 minutes away on the bus. We are famous for our healthy and wholesome breakfast(complimentary) and homecooked dinners. We are the only bed and breakfast homestay for travellers in Suva. Your hosts are Suzie, Joshua (12) and Colin (8). Colonial Lodge won the 2002 Fiji Excellence

The hostel was damp and dirty- the owner gave us stained towels to use. The owner's dog barked and whined throughout most of the night and kept us awake. The internet, which is advertised as free, actually costs $5 per hour. When we decided to leave early after being kept awake by the dog, the owner kept our down payment from the booking on hostelworld and charged us the full amount for the previous night. Would strongly recommend staying elsewhere in Suva. Very very unpleasant hostel.
