The hostel was good, looked like a resort, camping in a tropical setting. Nice restaurant & bar and the swimming pool is very nice to chill during the day. Not much to do in Hervey bay though. Hostel facilities are okay, except for the pots and pans in the kitchen because it’s an electronic cooking stove only 3 pans worked on it. Not very nice when it’s busy. We had a good stay and the owners and the staff are very friendly.

Didn't think that there exists a hostel apt for a honeymoon. And I wouldn't get married to a woman, which would reject the Colonial Village as a destination for such a purpose. In other words, I was delighted. Thanks!
