Just stayed there one night, but felt there like it was home. Definitely will come back. Great value for money.

I had so much fun in Budapest! This hostel is really well positioned to see all the sights and have a great night out! It's also well maintained and organised and good for a quiet night in the next day... The staff are friendly and helpful when you need them, and I'm keeping in touch with the fellow travellers I met here. Great bunch!

Very comfortable place. Friendly staff! Recommend it, for sure.

Not quite easy task to find the spot if you have to seek at dark, but the hostel actually takes place close to metro or bus stop. Got bunch of useful things-to-do brochures and homey atmosphere (met some cool fellas here), love it! Staffs are caring and helpful. It'd be a much better Color Budapest Hostel if the superbly cute colorful interiors get tidied-up li'l bit ;) But still, strongly recommend!

Excellent Staff and location, stayed only one night, couldn't enjoy its best.

When we arrived we were staying in the apartments and the guy at reception sat down and gave us information about the city and even carried both our giant suitcases to the other building where the apartments were located, he was super great!!! The apartment was super nice, with great facilities (the dorms didn't seem as nice). Breakfast was very basic, but for free you can't complain. Very close to the city centre, so we were able to walk everyday and did not have to rely on transport.

The bathroom was very dirty and the bed is not comfortable. The made a pile of mattress that weren't being used in my room, it made it look even less attractive and messy. They also put bed linen to dry in the middle of the room. I chose the hostel because the offer breakfast, but it is just bread, jam and cereal. You have much better options in budapest for the same price.

Feels like home.

This was a great hostel--bit of an older crowd which was perfect for me since I'm not into partying much. Small with only a few rooms, which made it more cozy. Large locker, very nice staff and breakfast selection is free. The value is incredible, just amazing. I'd highly recommend Colors, its location, value, and all the stuff you want in a peaceful hostel are here.

Perfect location, all main tourist attracions, restaurants, bars etc. in walking distance. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The only minus is that printer didn't work when I needed it, but in general all stay was perfect.

Colors Hostel was a very warm and welcoming environment. Other guests there were very social and the staff extremely helpful. People do like to socialize and the walls are pretty thin, so not the best place for going to bed early, but other than that, a very nice place to meet new people.

The staff are absolutely exceptional!! They are so so helpful and so passionate about their city! There were no locks on the doors however and the sheets for the bed were a bit daggy.

Good location, quite a small hostel with a small common area so if you are a solo traveller you don't meet a lot of people.

Overall the hostel is very good. And good value considering the free breakfast and tea/coffee, good location and that they do clean (many hostels in Bpest hardly bother)...and very nice helpful staff... A few minus points as you would expect but overidden by the plus points....sheets are 50% polyester ( I prefer 100% cotton myself), mattresses are a bit thin (so beds are hard), shower facilities for the males are not perfect (cramped etc and ideally have more showers) but not a problem.

Very good value for money

Such a great place to stay for its low cost. Breakfast included and there is a kitchen you can use. In addition, there is a store just next to it and its really close to transportation stations as well. Also, there's a balcony where you can chill whenever you want. Finally, the most important aspect of the hostel is its wonderful staff. They are all friendly and helpful people. Stayed in 15 hostels before never had this much fun before. Hail to the receptionists! You should definitely try it.

Pros: The location is good and also the rooms are big. Cons: The common area is small and the showers don`t give any privacy. Some of the staff appeared unfriendly and unprofessional sometimes.. I`ve stayed in Budapest before and found the other hostels there better than this one.
