Very cute, cheap, and charming place. Very close to the Vatican. Would definitely stay here again. Wifi was spotty in our room, but if you went into the lobby it was good!

The staff here were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Biggest issue I had was with the one key system. Because there was only one key for a dorm of six it was left open a few times with no one in there, concerned for security. It also meant asking at reception every time you returned to the room.

There was no lift to get with your backpack to third floor. Staff was really friendly and explained us a lot about Rome.

The entire staff was extremely helpful with transportation and getting around the city. The location of Hotel Colors was fantastic, close to Vatican City, but not extremely touristy and loud which we loved. It was close to all major sites and attractions. The restaurants around the hotel were great as well.

The location is good, walkable distance to Vatican, and the surrounding area looks quite safe. It is a hotel type instead of a hostel one, dorms have TV, Air conditioner, private toilet and shower, quite comfortable, very clean and the staff is polite. The only inconvenience, which I think is a big drawback is that it doesn't have lift, the dorms located on the 3rd floor, if you have a big luggage, you can think about the situation you have to face.

Location was great for the Vatican but a decent metro ride to the rest of the attractions. Bathrooms were clean and beds made daily. The situation with only one key for the dorm room was very annoying, and wifi was pretty slow.

Feels more like a hotel. I slept in the 4 person dorm. Shared bathroom was clean. Working WIFI. 15 minute walk from the metro station but no elevator. 10 minute walk to Vatican.

Basically, this is not a hostel. Unfortunately I've to talk bad from a REALLY NICE PLACE, because it was looking for a nice hostel where I can meet cool people to hang out, but is more than a 2 stars hotel than a hostel (whit 1 or 2 dorms). They have a really nice terrace but they don't do anything to create a good atmosphere.

Not in the center of town but very close to the Vatican. It was nice to be out of the thick of things n it was a bit cheaper being there too.

Very well located, closed to the Vatican and Castello de Sant'Angelo (less then 10 minutes walking). Clean rooms and bathroom (white sheets and towels). Nice friendly staff. The only problem is that there is no locker for the backpacks (although there is a save box inside the room and you can leave your backpack in the reception).

Stayed there just for one night... Whish every hostel was like this one... Loved it
