breakfast was included and was great. the staff, particularly the girl in charge of the kitchen/cleaning rooms was great seems you can trust her. full of shooping on cola di rienzo; very close to el vaticano and very close to city center just crossing the river. I would strongly recommend it !!

They asked each night 2 euro rome tax, but they did not put any information on the website! The lady works in the afternoon is terrible, her attitude is bad.It is not a hostel at all, I will never go to this place any more.

This "hotel" is definitely a bit better than your average hostel. They don't have a lift & when staying on the 3 floor it makes quite a hike when hauling luggage. The staff wasn't overly friendly - it always felt like you were bothering them when. We had to check out early to catch a 6am flight. There was a sign on the reception desk that said be back in 4 minutes. Come to find out the guy was sleeping in the office behind the desk. He only woke up b/c I was taping my key on the desk.

I really enjoyed my time at Colors. After travelling one month around Europe all I needed was to rest and my room at Colors was great! Probably the best room that I had in my hole trip! :-)

Somewhat disappointed. Maybe I had too much of a high expectation after seeing those colourful pictures. The place is very clean and the breakfast was a good value(bread, croissant, brownies, cheese, ham, juice, coffee, milk, kiwi, apple) . We had a room with a bathroom on the second floor. The room was very small and hardly had any place to put our two luggage. Once we placed our luggage on the floor, no more space to open the bathroom door.

This was more of a hotel with a dorm room - it was mostly families and groups staying there which is not the best for the single traveller. A good stay and lovely location very near to the Vatican.

I enjoyed my stay in Colors, the breakfasts and clean facilities were great. The area in which Colours is located is very safe and within walking distance to all tourist sites. Mauro and Judid are wonderful and very willing and helpful with advice, however some of the other staff I felt to be rude and abrupt- some even had a lot of attitude and made me feel like my existence was a great inconvenience to them. The shared dorms could do with lockers. Other than those mi

Second time staying here, just as good of an experience as the first time. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Not much of a common area. Good location, close proximity to subway and the Vatican.

Excellent location close to the Vatican city, perfect to see all the sights in Rome. Good breakfast (private rooms free, dorm: additional 5€, definitely worth it). Not enough shared toilets / bathrooms. Some rooms are noisy because of the street.

I would not go back here and would not recommend this hostel. There is only one key per room so the door is often left open, on top of which they do not provide lockers so if you want your valuables to stay safe they have to come with you rather than be left in your bag in an unlocked room! The location is great for the Vatican but a bit of a trek for everywhere else. Our bathroom flooded while we were there are the staff were not particularly helpful about this or other things. Overall, poor.

Brand new hostel, clean and more like a hotel. Definitely recommend it!!!

This seems like a good hotel that was turned into a hostel to make more money. They don`t really seem to get the Hostel thing all that well. There is no luggage room, no lockers for things in the rooms (although there is a hotel safe that one person can use), you can`t do laundry in the sink and everything closes up kind of early (the sitting areas on the terrace, etc.) It was very clean, and you get towels, which is excellent. Not bad, but didn`t knock my socks off.

An old hotel. These never have much character. The common room was very, very small and uninhabited when I was there. I think this place still serves as more of a hotel than a hostel. My room was very, very crowded with all the beds in a small room. Luckily, not all the beds were taken. The common room doesn't even have a microwave. You /must/ eat crappy Roman food.

The hotel has nice large bedrooms with private washrooms and the staff are fantastic. They offer a great free breakfast with a double room with almost anything you could want. Its great value for your money compared with the rest of Rome, the hotel was one of the best parts about our stay!
