Awesome Hostel..little away from the main attractions..but a nice place for meeting new people and really friendly staff..cheap and definately value for money.. would love to come back to this hostel next time.
beautiful location and common areas, probably even better in the warm seasons. good price. friendly and relaxed atmosphere. clean bathrooms. but the bed sheets were not so fresh, as if washed at low temperature (i guess in Germany people don't boil the linen?) and the matresses were quite stained
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, nice kitchen- would stay again!

I love this hostel, great atmosphere, great staff and in a real good location
Best Hostels in Berlin so far. Staff is really nice and helpful, location is perfect and rooms are good enough. Probably one of the best spots if you come to hang out with other peoples and party all night long.
Was a decent hostel with a very cool common area with a grungy vibe. Cooking facilities were very good. Only really bad thing is the location - its a train ride away from the centre of Berlin.
Great hostel! Really feels like being in home... Very good location for party in the area Kreuzberg. In my opinion it would be really cool if the hostel had like a real bar (with more beers, crushed ice, etc). Would make people want to party in the hostel... Just a suggestion, the hostel was nice anyway.
It was the second time we were in Berlin, now finishing our trip. We chose the hostel cause we saw they had nice facilities and that would really make our stay more confortable. And they have. Nice kitchen, nice showers, nice sttaf and coffee 24 hs! Wi-fi was not great, but works quite well in the common area, wich is also nice with games and space. The terrace is also cool and probably cold... In fact we stayed one day more :) Rafael & Raquel

Good atmosphere/social area, but dorms and bathrooms were pretty poorly: door to room really hard to open, showers flooded and dirty, mattresses in need of update. Staff not particularly involved/enthusiastic/helpful. Can imagine deck would be good in summer. Decent location and vibe, but that's all. Partyish/Australian.
Really a party place, very loud. Dont expect to get a good-night sleep unless you go to bed around 5am.
Convenient location next to Kotbusser Tor (U1 and U8) and cheap food options, but not many pubs or clubs. Plenty of individual bathrooms and the rooms are comfortable with chairs and even a couch, but the mattresses are kinda stained and pillows are small and hard. Huge common area with foosball, a terrace, good music and even some performances. The only really bad thing was the wifi, which cuts out every few minutes, so if you must Skype, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a great value.
I thought the bathrooms were very old and not too hygienic. There was no wifi in the rooms.
Excellent hostel option to meet other people!
Nice small/medium sized hostel. I was tipped about this hostel from fellow backpackers a week before so I thought I'd give it a shot. Pretty cheap with a nice common room where it's hard not to meet people, everyone was friendly which called for good nights out in the city. The hostel was close to bars and cheap food places.
awesome atmosphere. Good for lone travelers. feels like home.
It's a really nice place. The common area is very cosy and cool furnished. The people seemed nice as well (didn't spent much time in the hostel, cause I visited friends). 2 things I didn't like though were the beds and the showers. The beds seemed a bit unsafe as there are no sides on the upper bed to prevent falling. And the shower system was quiet messy. The whole floor was flooded and full of hair and stuff. And the shower heads are unmoveble and have too much pressure. Still would recommend it :)
Comebackpackers had a few issues in my stay. The plumbing was all messed up which left 2 of the 4 toilets closed, the sinks were all leaking and worst of all wifi was down from the Friday we arrived and only came back the Monday that we left (the hostel did reimburse your time at an Internet cafe). It wasn't the cleanest of hostels, the showers looked like they were styled on a prison. Worst of all the man and lady staff on during the day were terribly rude.
Very well located hostel with a nice homey atmosphere. Makes it really easy to interact with other people. Just downstairs you can find lots of places to eat, supermarkets, grocery stores and also a metro (u-bahn) station! The common area and bedrooms are not the cleanest places, but they are ok. The bathrooms, on the other hand, are always kept very clean! Overall, awesome place. Staff very helpful too.
