I had read the reviews about the single bathroom and thought it wouldn't be an issue. I was wrong. At this hostel you share a single bathroom with up to 20 people. There were multiple times where you had to wait over 40 minutes just to brush your teeth. Over than that everything else is great, but one bathroom among that many guests is a red flag.
Nice little place, one member of staff was great, a french guy, very helpful. The other employee was really unwelcoming & you felt bad for asking her a question. Best bed i've stayed in while i've travelled around europe 👍
Very good value for money

A bit far out, but a really cute little hostel that will make you feel welcome, with helpful staff. The kitchen facilities were a great help for anyone on a budget, as it saves eating food out! Would have been nice if they had secure lockers, like other hostels we have visited, however we had no problems.
Nice hostel, situated in leafy Berlin suburb. Perhaps a little bit out of centre, but a perfectly good place to base yourself in Berlin for a few days. One bathroom shared between all guests, is one negative point.
The Comfy Corner is a really great place. Other than the mix-up about the address, which is actually at 7a Dortmunderstrasse not whats written on hostelworld, it really is a nice place in a quiet but vibrant area of Berlin. Right by the park and some really good restaurants, a couple minutes walk to the u bahn and grocery stores, very practical. Rooms are very nice, single beds, but no lockers. The one wash room for 15 people isnt really smart, and got me in some dicey situations. Would repeat!
Comfy Little Corner is as comfy as promised. The two guys running the hostel in lieu of the owner seemed pretty nice, but they could be strict about the hostel rules at times, and only one of them really interacted with us at all. The atmosphere and the amenities were in general pretty good, but there's only one bathroom, which could be hard. The kitchen is small, but very serviceable, and there are local shops, plus breakfast ingredients at the hostel for a small fee if you want. We enjoyed it.
It was a little confusing as to whether the staff were just guests at the hostel or whether they worked there, but despite that they were helpful and very nice to talk to! Berlin is very spread out so you will need to take the train from this hostel to get to most interesting places. Nice clean hostel though, how shower was excellent!
The staff is very helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Nice secluded location, closed off atmosphere, clean and cheap, but out of the way and ONLY ONE BATHROOM! We had to wait for an hour or more for the bathroom multiple times and could hear staff talking through the night.
There really is to many Rooms and Beds in this facility for only one Bathroom/WC. This was very inconvinient for us from time to time. I have stayed in many places with shared bathroom facilities, and while you occasionaly have to wait it is usually not a great concern, but here it was simply to many guests per bathroom. Other than this it was a decent simple hostel.
The girls from Staff were great, very atencious, but the guy there was not so kind with us.
- The single bedroom is located directly besides the kitchen and there's a little door between the two rooms. Unfortunately it's very noisy because of this plus you get smoke and smells in your room.. :-( - The doorbell should be turned off during the night.. some drunk people rang it at 5 a.m. :-(
Nice place, but there is only one bathroom and we were like 7... Also that you cant leave your luggage there.
Nice place in a convenient location. Bus stops near by in multiple directions, and an U Bahn station just down the street a little ways. Nicer to be in a non-touristy location of town, but still be well connected to the city. Would be nice if there was more than one bathroom, since you have to wait for anyone showering to be able to use the toilet, but that would be my only complaint. The place wasn't built for large groups of people to live there and share the one bathroom originally.
Very nice place. Too bad they have only one bathroom (~_~;)
The house and the atmosphere of Comfy Little Corner ist awesome but we couldn´t leave our luggage there during the last hours after our check-out which caused a lot of problems. It isn´t that difficult to put two bags in some save corner, you should definetly offer that service for your guests. Apart from that I can really recomend the familiar housing!
The little comfy corner is a large apartment with different room sizes. It is perfect if you just need a quiet place to stay with your friends when visiting Berlin. Jason and Anna, the volunteer working for the hostel, were pretty friendly and open to give advice and tips about the city. Both me and my friend are happy to have stayed there.
Hostel has no name on the street and not even on the ringbell, one has to ring the bell of a private house. We could not find the place and the owner was not answering the phone, we had to wait 10 minutes in the street (it was cold). More a private house than a hostel, really. However, room was good and hostel was clean. Only one toilet for all the guests (around 10), though. Staff was not particular friendly and we were given no receipt, but no major complaints and at the end the stay was ok.
