The staff is very helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Nice secluded location, closed off atmosphere, clean and cheap, but out of the way and ONLY ONE BATHROOM! We had to wait for an hour or more for the bathroom multiple times and could hear staff talking through the night.

There really is to many Rooms and Beds in this facility for only one Bathroom/WC. This was very inconvinient for us from time to time. I have stayed in many places with shared bathroom facilities, and while you occasionaly have to wait it is usually not a great concern, but here it was simply to many guests per bathroom. Other than this it was a decent simple hostel.

The girls from Staff were great, very atencious, but the guy there was not so kind with us.

- The single bedroom is located directly besides the kitchen and there's a little door between the two rooms. Unfortunately it's very noisy because of this plus you get smoke and smells in your room.. :-( - The doorbell should be turned off during the night.. some drunk people rang it at 5 a.m. :-(

Nice place, but there is only one bathroom and we were like 7... Also that you cant leave your luggage there.

Nice place in a convenient location. Bus stops near by in multiple directions, and an U Bahn station just down the street a little ways. Nicer to be in a non-touristy location of town, but still be well connected to the city. Would be nice if there was more than one bathroom, since you have to wait for anyone showering to be able to use the toilet, but that would be my only complaint. The place wasn't built for large groups of people to live there and share the one bathroom originally.

Very nice place. Too bad they have only one bathroom (~_~;)

The house and the atmosphere of Comfy Little Corner ist awesome but we couldn´t leave our luggage there during the last hours after our check-out which caused a lot of problems. It isn´t that difficult to put two bags in some save corner, you should definetly offer that service for your guests. Apart from that I can really recomend the familiar housing!

The little comfy corner is a large apartment with different room sizes. It is perfect if you just need a quiet place to stay with your friends when visiting Berlin. Jason and Anna, the volunteer working for the hostel, were pretty friendly and open to give advice and tips about the city. Both me and my friend are happy to have stayed there.

Hostel has no name on the street and not even on the ringbell, one has to ring the bell of a private house. We could not find the place and the owner was not answering the phone, we had to wait 10 minutes in the street (it was cold). More a private house than a hostel, really. However, room was good and hostel was clean. Only one toilet for all the guests (around 10), though. Staff was not particular friendly and we were given no receipt, but no major complaints and at the end the stay was ok.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you, for your comments. Our comfy little place really is a part of a real Berlin house, where real Berliners live. It is very old; it survived both world wars, bears an historic memorial at the entrance, it is a part of the living history of Berlin. To help our guests arrive, we send to everyone an individual welcome mail, with maps and directions for all transport and access to the house itself (including the exact location and which bell to ring) This is to help you; please use it!
