Nice place to chill, well equipped guest kitchen, and awesome staff kitchen serving up great meals. Comfiest hostel beds I've experienced
The place is spotless. Great location close to all the main sights. The free walking tour is excellent. The optional communal breakfasts and dinners are a great way to meet people and the food is restaurant quality. Beds are extremely comfortable. The facilities are better than most hotels I'd say. Definitely recommended.
Really great hostel, very close to the food market and cheap but good places to eat, also in the historical centre. The tours are very much worth doing. Also the food served at the hostel is really good, had the breakfast each day I was staying.
The only downside of the hostel is that the dorms are quite crammed and there isn't really anywhere to put your bag. Having two less beds (one bunk) would make a world of difference.
Community Hostel is an amazing hostel. All the staff and guests are so inviting and friendly; you feel at home instantly. The beds are really comfortable, there are activities and communal dinners offered every day (everybody raves about the food) and the facilities are all spotlessly clean. I ended up extending my stay and rebooking when I returned to Quito. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at.
Wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Located right in old town which is convient. The free walking tour that runs from the hostel is a great intro to Quito- especially if your time is delayed. The food was amazing and well worth the money. Highly recommend.
Fantastic hostel! The staff was super friendly, the breakfasts/dinners were great, and the location was perfect. Definitely stay here when you're in Quito!
Clean and great breakfast. Very close to old city. 8 bed dorm was linked to another so was basically the noise of a 16 bed dorm. More bathrooms than you expect! Luggage storage could be more secure.
Stayed in a 4 bed dorm. Rooms: Clean & spacious w/ big lockers. No Key to the rooms though. Bathrooms: Clean w/ hot shower. Staff: super fun, friendly, & helpful. Location: in the old town and close to everything. There is a travel agency downstairs which makes it easy to book activities. Good ($3) breakfast & ($5) dinner. Great place to meet other travelers. Good pub crawl on Sat. 3rd floor can be a bit noisy as that's where the common area is so no sleeping past 8 am. Definitely recommend it!
I really liked this place. Great atmosphere. Comfy strong beds, quality built. Food was exceptional which is a bonus as there arent many quality places to eat nearby. A shortage of plugs in the bedrooms but other than that I can't really fault it.
Staff was welcoming, food beyond delicious, great advice for town via their travel group. Immaculate bathrooms with hot water. Great pick!
A reeeealllly good place to stay. Great food, great people, great WiFi and hot showers. It's pretty difficult to get a spot at times but that's just a testament to how good it truly is.

Beds are very comfy. It can be a bit loud if you have a room near the main dining area. The food was great.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff, comfy beds and fantastic breakfast and dinners. Great tour options downstairs. Brilliant hostel.
We had only a quick stay in Quito (2 nights) but this is THE hostel to stay for that... Very comfortable beds, clean & private bathrooms with reliable hot water, and very helpful staff. For a few bucks you can participate in their homemade breakfasts or dinners... which I HIGHLY recommend. Great way to start the day. Definitely recommend.
A great hostel! Really friendly and sociable, easy to meet people in the upstairs social room where everyone has dinner together. Activities to do everyday. Amazing breakfasts and evening meals! Beds are super comfy. The whole place is very clean and well kept.
Fantastic hostel. Great tours are run from the front desk and the food is delicous for lunch and dinner. Frre coffee and tea is served round thr clock. The beds are extremely comfortable and large.
