This was already my third time in this hostel. The comfortable beds and the big bathrooms keep bringing me back. However this time they had problems with hot water, but I am sure they can get it fixed soon. Great location.

Decent wifi, two good kitchens and really good bathrooms however there is only three toilets for the entire hostel so you have to wait a lot. The bedroom was clean and comfortable but right on the street so the street lights and noise made it very hard to sleep. Not the safest area at night time.

Our stay at Community Hostel was good. We arranged for Airport pick up and Airport delivery on both ends of our trip. Quito is an amazing city with lots to offer. I suggest the Quail eggs for $1.00 on the streets. A good snack is also the Chicken feet 10 for $1.00. The staff here are excellent and ready to make your stay enjoyable. Good WiFi. Clean facilities. Visit the market practically across the street!

Community Hostel had a very fun atmosphere. The room was big and bright. The bathroom looked more like a hotel bathroom than a hostel bathroom. The common areas were spacious and inviting. Lots of interesting backpackers to chat with from all over. However, the hostel was definitely a drive to the downtown nightlife. Don't walk around at night near the hostel - you will definitely want a cab. Unlike other hostels, we were not given a key to lock our room during the day. Friendly staff.

Awesome place to stay in the heart of Quito! Staff are tremendous and will help with booking tours\excursions. Breakfast isn't included but at $2.50 well worth it! Lockers are avaliable in every room. Don't miss the walking tour, a must to get to know Quito. Highly recommended hostel!

This is a wonderful hostel to stay at. It is really close to the historical district where most of the sites are, the staff are all wonderful, and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect near the historical center, market hall an bus stop. The beds are amazing. One more toilet would be nice though and they could have a bit more organized guest fridge. Would definitely come back!

The beds in this hostel are amazing! Really big and comfortable! Great atmosphere, feels like you are staying at a friends house! Very chilled and cozy. Also the breakfast and dinners are amazing! The lady that cooks does a great job. The hostel is very clean and in a good location. Most of the staff are lovely and friendly, some are not!

This hostel has really big and comfortable beds. The walking tour they provide is great and if you do the tour make sure you go to the lunch spot recommended for a $2 meal. Great food for breakfast and dinner although you have to pay extra for both. Location is really central too. I definitely would stay here again ;)

A great friendly hostel. Breakfast (an extra $2.50) was the best I've had in South America - omelette one day, waffles and fruit the next. There's also a well equipped kitchen and nice lounge and dining room. The walking tour that runs from the hostel is also well worth doing.

As you've heard, limited bathrooms but this was really not an issue. They have a free walking tour, you can pay for an awesome breakfast. Only complaint is staff spends a lot of time in the evening watching and streaming videos that make he internet pretty slow. Super clean, and drawers wih provided lock and key under the beds.

Pros: 1.) location is good, in the center near the central market 2.) staff is amazing and so helpful 3.) it is a community, easy to meet people. They do breakfasts/dinners where you can sit and hang out next to everyone Cons: 1.) you won't get any sleep, the hostel is too loud. Right next to a busy street, and you hear everything in the rooms 2.) the doorbell is awful, ringing at all hours 3.). One bathroom per floor is a bit inconvenient Overall, would def stay again

This was genuinely the best hostel I've stayed in south america. It was spotlessly clean, staff were excellent and really safe. Everyone is made to feel welcome. Breakfasts are fantastic. Cost $2.50 but are AMAZING. Meals are on offer every night for $5. Kitchen facilities are also great. The tv is a projector which is really good with quite a few good channels and filma to choose from. Bathrooms are really nice although there are only 3, but still this didnt bother us. Would HIGHLY recommend.

On our one month trip through Equador, Peru and Bolivia this was the best hostel by far. We had the most welcoming and helping staff one could possibly imagine. The atmosphere in this hostel was great at any time and it was always easy to meet new people. During our time in Equador we only had a few nights at this place, but could leave our big backpackes there the whole time. Awesome.

Had a great stay at community hostel. Airport pick up went smoothly, food was EXCELLENT, and staff very friendly and accommodating. The hostel offers a walking tour of the old town, which travellers from around the area come to do, and is free. This was a nice way to get to know the area. Overall a great stay, and would recommend Community hostel.

This hostel had nice beds, great staff and amazing meals :) Also it is right across from a brewery :) The only downfall is there aren't enough bathrooms, however they are always clean though.
