If you want to be in the center of Santo Domingo, this would be the place to stay at. The staff is nice, the rooms are average, but you do get a small fridge and a locker with a lock.

Wifi Is on Ground-Floor where breakfast is served . You should ask for fruits and eggs if you wish them for Breakfast . They have a nice sunny roof-terrace . The owner Walter is friendly . Warm water is with Solar Energy , used it with care . We stayed 7 nights in room 31 . I have an hostel in Rio and my 2 advices will be to put Wifi in all rooms and plenty of fresh fruits for Breakfast . Walter , will you come to my Hostel , www.casa6ipanema.com ? I will also recommend more hooks and shelves .

Very good hostel, nice staff, good location, very clean, complimentary breakfast, wifi.

An inexpensive place. Basic ammenities are there, people are lovely, rooms/bar/resturaunt area are nice, good place to hang out...wifi is good downstairs. Interesting mix of people staying, someone is available 24 hours. Owner speaks English staff mostly not.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, but they are unfortunately accompanied by a roach infestation. I would go back if they got rid of the bugs.

Overall good place. Be aware that not everyone working there speaks English. Note the front of the hotel doesn't say 'Condominium Parque', but "Edificio Parque" and "Cafeteria Venus". Also note guests leave their room key at the desk everytime you leave the Hostel. When you return, they just trust you'll tell them the correct room number. I will admit it didn't seem to be a problem though. There were cockroaches in the room on our food when we returned one day. No Air conditioning as advertised

The value here is location, location, location! If you want to stay in the Zona for cheap then Stay here.
