I was very impressed with this hostel. on arrival one of the staff came to meet me at 1am to check me in, as there was nobody on site during off season. i was very impressed with his attitude towards offering his help at any time of the day. "if you have any trouble, 4am, 5am it doesnt matter, make sure you call me." a fantastic attitude to have and gives you a sense of safety when travelling alone. fantastic location and brilliant price. would recommend to anyone travelling to prague.

During off season, make sure to communicate with hostel about arrival time so you're not waiting.

Rooms are dirty, "private ensuites" have shared bathrooms. Walls are very thin. The hostel was almost empty, but we were placed into the room adjacent to the group of young people who were up and loud the whole night, despite of the knowledge that we need to wake up and leave early in the morning.

The staff are competent English speakers and tried to help as much as possible with any queries I had, and the location is fantastic - very central so everywhere is walk-able, of course there's metro- and tramlines. My advice would be to read the INFO section of the Condor 1 Hostel page regarding government tax and late check in fees - all you need to know is stated there! I would stay at Condor 1 again.
