Many "pluses", above all the nice and helpful owner and the great location: bars and a supermarket nearby and close to the city center and the river. Once you're at the hostel you don't mind anymore that it took a longer walk from the train station (with heavy luggage take public transport). Closet/locker with each bed, clean and spacious bathroom (though only one on the floor = minus), kitchen in the common room. No "party hostel", but perfect for a few relaxing days in the heart of the city.

Though a VERY healthy walk (or not so bad bus ride) from the train station, this was a wonderful hostel sorta outside of the city centre, so you felt like you weren't totally a tourist, and you were living in Ljubljana. Everything was clean and the other guests we met when we went were all great, though it could be very quiet and non-interactive if you are a shy, non-proactive person. And of course, this being Eastern Europe, the value for money was fantastic. Thanks for a great time!

Beautiful new hostel (about 2011) with spacious dorms, plenty of powerpoints, good wifi and lovely bathrooms. They provide no food and there are no shops really close, so bring drinks/ snacks. But there are restaurants and the Old City within easy walking distance, and a good bus to the train and bus station. Excellent place to stay.

A bit far from the train and bus station, but is closed to the city centre. the bathroom and bed ar very tidy and clean, but there is only one bathroom and washroom in a floor. it is equipped with a big and neat common room, with a spacious and beatiful kitchen:) staff is nice and friendly:)

Not too central, but a good place for some nights. And compared to Alibi Hostels & Co. you are treated as a guest rather than as a customer.

I loved it so much here that I extended my stay for another two nights. Rok is an outstanding host and is so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was great. If the hostel was full, there would be a problem with only having one toilet and bathroom. The hostel is just outside of the old city but it was a beautiful walk along the river.

We enjoyed our time at Confidenti Hostel, The whole experience was perfect. We loved the place, and received full value for money which was paid. Thank you (-:

Excellent hostel. Easy to find, free public parking (we found parking place in one minute), not far from center, quiet suburb (perfect for living), clean, nice common room and bathroom, free and good WiFi, big lockers, nice atmosphere. Owner Rok is nice and helpful (he helped us with shifting booking for one day). Upon arrival we got city map with useful information. My friend commented: \"Everything (was) excellent, (we come) gladly again!\" (Sve pet, rado opet!).

Very friendly owner who came out of his way to let us in. After finding out that it had only been running a year, we were surprised and acknowledged that he must have done some home work to implement a good basis - reputation will bring in more customers and hopefully a bit more marketing/signs outside will let even more people know! This is a great place to stay and worth every penny. The owner is extremely nice and will sit down with you to let you know everything you could possibly want to see in Ljubljana. There is a great kitchen that you can use whenever you like and also several other amenities if you just ask. The house is quaint and welcoming. Best hostel I have been to, and have been traveling around Europe staying in hostels for 5 months now. This is much better than going to somewhere touristy like hostel celica

Great place. Bit of a hike from the train station, but it was very well-kept and the staff was very helpful without being overbearing. Would definitely stay there again, especially for the price I paid.

Can't say enough good things about this place. We arrived late at night, and the owner was incredibly accommodating and flexible. The hostel is clean, the facilities are in good shape (one of the best hostel bathrooms/showers I've ever been in), and it's in a great location. I would recommend Confidenti in a heartbeat.

The location is perfect for a quiet staying. The walk to the center is along the river and very peaceful. The rooms have hetaer and Rok is very helpful.

Nice comfy beds, the staff weren't around very often which was kind of annoying

I think my only complaint was that the mattress wasn't comfortable. Maybe some upgrades can be made down the road.

A really great hostel! We were the only people staying for the night, but the host Rok was very nice, hospitable and helpful. The rooms are neat and comfy and the kitchen is well equiped. The hostel is within a walking distance of the centre, but in a very quite neighbourhood. We strongly recommend it, and will surely book there for our next visit in lovely Ljubljana =)
