First stay here - we got a room for two in the basement. The second time we instead got a dorm for 4 with two bunk beds. Good joke. Again - the bars on the windows, the noise from street, no air, moisture, mold, sickening mattresses. Good advice - don´t go there. The manager relies on the fact that the good reviews on the dorm on first floor outweigh the bad about basement rooms and that although guests will complain, they will pay because they have nowhere else to go. Unprofessional!!!

I just stayed only one night in confidenti but it was pretty good. Except the fact that the location is abit off downtown but the transport connection is quite good though. Bathroom is clean but just only one shower for 3 8-bed-mixed-rooms so it's abit inconvenient. Anyways, with around 10-12€ per night, i'm happy with the stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice hostel

It is misleading to say on that 'all taxes are included' when the City Tax is not included.

wifi was not working

Hostels Staff always available and very kind with their guests. Really well located.

I was confused by the conflicting reviews of this hostel - sometimes great, sometimes terrible. Explanation - there are rooms of significantly different levels. Upstairs is a nice dorm parquet floors, terrace, old windows, with kitchen. If you are looking for such accommodation, you'll probably be satisfied. Definitely but in any case don´t book room in the basement - they got all these negative reviews. Apparently it should be about 2 rooms for 2 without bathroom (I booked one) and dorm for 4.

The staff is nice and the hostel is situated in a very nice residental area, ca 10 minutes walk away from the centre. Don't expect much of the facilities or the cleaning and you'll be OK: the basic things (bed, pillow, linien, chair, desk) are provided and it's not dirty, but it a big all around cleaning and some freshening up would do the place good. For the price payed it OK. Big NO to security system: for arrivals after reception hours security code for entrance is taped on the front door!

The hostel needs more bathrooms, one per floor isn't enough. Because the staff weren't there at night they left a note to those arriving late including the door code and instructions on where to find the key. Basically anyone could have walked in at night... if they ever found the hostel, as it's quite far away and there was no signage on the street. All in all we had a nice stay. There were a lot of young travellers and in the spacious common room and kitchen it was easy to get to know them.

Not many showers, but logical if it is a student house. Was a good atmosphere around and friendly staff

Staff were very friendly and flexible, accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. There is no safe or locker to put your valuables in. A bit far from the main station (on the other side of town) but a short walk along the river into town.

Very pleasant experience at this hotel, the managers have been really kind to us and have helped with every issue. Totally recommended.

Lovley people, good atmosphere great city nice bars nearby and good walk into town

Best Staff ever! Small, clean, nice, cheap!

The hostel is in the outskirt of Ljubljana (even though it is not a huge city). It has a nice terass and the kitchen is alright. Best thing about it is that it has laundry facilities. I am not one to complain about beds usually, but these ones were really uncomfortable and squeaky.

Difficult to find especially in dark, worst beds I've ever slept on with springs sticking up everywhere + very noisy = worst nights sleep of my trip! Only one shower per floor, with no where to out the shower head. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed 2 nights in Confidenti hostel. It was a very nice hostel pretty near from the city center and the path was a nice walk by the river. The bathroom was clean and big. The rooms were good.

The confidenti hostel is a nice hostel in Ljubljana. Although we first thought it would be a bit out of the centre, it turned out that it was actually pretty close (as Ljubljana is not that big). The host gave us perfect recommendations for our stay in Ljubljana. The only minor comment we have is the small amount of showers and toilets in the hostel.

Staff were friendly, hostel was clean but the beds and pillows were quite bad and there was an unprotected broken window as well as the lack of any frosting or blinds on the toilet or bathroom. Good location for a short walk into town.

Good little place in the centre of town, 5 minutes walk from everything to see in Ljubljana. The terrace is a nice addition and good common area/kitchen. My only criticism is that a communal bathroom may have been helpful for so many guests, and the wifi isn't great - I mainly went across the road to the nearest cafe for Internet!
