Great hostel, nice breakfast in the morning, great hostel facilties and the staff (Hilda) are awesome will defined stay again when next hiking in Connemara.

Amazing! Couldn't believe how great our experience was. The staff was kind and helpful, and extremely knowledgable about the area. Everything was very clean and the wood burning fire in the living room was so cozy--perfect atmosphere for the storm we were having. We loved it so much we changed our original travel plans so that we could stay an extra night, and they had no trouble accommodating us even though many other guests arrived. We could not be happier with our time here.

Very comfortable and calm atmosphere, hostel located in a tiny and take-a-break village

Brilliant! Very nice staff. Great location, right at the entrance of the national park.

Cosy place, highly recommend the food in the restaurant!

We met many nice people in Ireland, but undoubtedly the staff at the hostel were the nicest, they helped us a lot so it was a pleasure to stay there.

I saw pictures of the hostel and was really looking forward to it. but sadly I was very disappointed. the area is beautiful and the location is very close to the Connemara National Park, but the hostel itself was very disappointing. the rooms shown on the website were the hotel-like ones in the main building, the dorm rooms were in a side building. there were no community rooms and no kitchen for us to use, so there was no way to get in touch with other, no real "hostel-feeling".

The hostel has one shower for the entire hostel. Nothing seemed clean. The shower did not drain either so when you take a shower you are standing in a pool of gross water. There was also no way to keep the water in the shower so the whole bathroom was flooded and soaked each time someone took a shower. The beds did not seem clean. Despite what they said on the website they do not do laundry for guests or have laundry facilities guests can use. They don't have breakfast. Not a good place.
