The only bad thing about this place is there was no salt and pepper in the cupboard (every room has a kitchen, huge help on making our trip a budget one). The staff is incredible, feel like family the minute you get in. Constantino provided us with better tourist information than anyone we had met in Greece. Incredibly clean, comfortable beds, huge windows, great breeze from beaut beach right down the street. Don't bother looking anywhere else. no matter how good it looks, this is better.

Kostav is a great guy and made my time in Crete terrific. The hostel however lacks a good common room so that can make it hard to meet travellers.

Although the Hostel is not in the city center, it is fantastically located. The surroundings are very quiet, your are ONLY 100 meters away from the beach, there are tons of mini markets nearby where to do your grocery shopping, and in only 10-15 minutes walk you are in the beautiful old venetian town. Constantino is the nicest host we have ever met, and he constantly made us feel at home. If we ever go back to Chania, we will definitely stay at Constantino's again.

Placed away from the main old town but it is adjacent a long, lovely beach which is well served with restaurants and other. Though away from the Old Town it only takes 10-15 min to walk there in several directions. Good if you want to have a quiet nights sleep. Felt more like a guest-house than a hostel. All rooms have a balcony to enjoy a beer as the sun goes down.

Great host. Recommendations were awesome, ended up staying in Chania longer and renting a car and driving to Elafonissi beach. Dorms are a bit further from center but interesting walk, especially near the water.
