I stayed here for a week and loved it. It's a nice little artsy place, and super clean. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. It's a little bit of a walk from the rail station. If you're carrying a lot of luggage I'd recommend taking a taxi to and from for check-in/out as the sidewalks are a little difficult in parts, otherwise it's a small walk to attractions.
The hotel had no water for the only night we stayed there. Otherwise, everything else was great, but water is essential.
Great design and originality. Friendly staff. One of the more expensive hostels but very clean and great air conditioning
It's quiet far from Bukit Bintang St. MRT. Maybe almost 1km by foot. The surroundings pretty quite too, not too noisy. Hostel got nice buildings. I booked a bed on female dorm. The room has 6 beds, toilet, shower, and locker. Overall the dorm is clean, neat, and nice! I had a nice sleep there. Wifi is fast! The hostel got a common room to upstairs (3rd floor) and got hammock. Breakfast is standard, just bread tea coffee.
Container Hotel is such a cool place to stay, however it is far out from the city so would not recommend it if you enjoy walking back and forward, especially for the evenings, although KL feels very safe. There wasn't a lot happening here, I am a solo traveler and didn't meet people but the dorm rooms are really cool and worth just staying for the pure genius of it! Staff very helpful and friendly.
This place is really clean, near from the underground station, it's close to the twin tower and city center (15 min walking), the staff is very helpfull, maybe one point to get better is the hostel atmosphere, I mean a bigger common area, overall the hostel is very good though!
I stayed here for about 4 days and 3 nights while backpacking through SE Asia. It was the first stop on my tour and it didn't disappoint. Although the location was a bit hard for the taxi to find (I assume because it's a relatively new hostel) it was rather chill. Atmosphere was smooth. Facilities were brand new. They have lockers in the rooms and a security guard on staff for added security benefit. Soft beds! Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was standard toast, coffee, etc. Great place!
Stayed with my boyfriend, and loved it! We had a double bed 'room' in one of the round containers, which was comfortable, clean and cool (thanks to the air con). There were also some lovely touches - fresh bottle of water in the room, towels (arranged into decorative swans!) and slippers. The showers were hot and the simple breakfast was lovely. The staff were amazing - especially 'Bob' on reception, who was exceptionally helpful. In a quiet area, but only 10 mins walk to the huge shopping area!
More of a hotel vibe than hostel. This is most likely due to being a new hotel 3mths old. I believe it will be an amazing place when it gets establish and ppl flock to it. Love the concept of reusing materials. These shipping containers and storm drains were designed for one purpose. Now they are being used as accommodations. Unbelievable. Also strong WiFi, comfy bed and covers, plushy towels. Short walk to main shopping district and transit line.
