The Hostel has a very chill atmosphere and the facilities were new and clean. Amazing location in a great neighborhood - close to parque rodó and the rambla, best restaurants in the city are within walking distance. The hostel itself resembles an art gallery with its modern flare. As the hostel was underbooked during my stay, I had a great and peaceful night of sleep.
Lovely place - light and airy and cool, but a little far from the centre or from decent restaurants and bars.
a very nice place to stay - the old house provides a great atmosphere !!! the owner is connected to the arts scene, but the guests are mainly ordinary travellers
From my vantage-point, this place was NOISY as hell! (private room that looked out on to calle Juan Jackson.) The loud engine sounds from the street and from La Rambla (1 block away) kept me up all night. Add to this the yelling and singing from the drunk weekend crowd. Inside the hostel, there were frequent loud banging noises (?closing doors). Wifi much weaker in the room. Some pages wouldn't even load. Only decent in common area or in my room in middle of night. Good showers and nice staff.

Super clean including sheets & bathrooms. Comfortable beds, warm comforters. Hot water. Reliable internet. Helpful staff. Blocks from the beach, highly recommended area for summer. A little bit of a walk, but not too far from the sites. Minutes from the ferry terminal by cab. Hostel sells beer and soda but not bottled water. Lockers in dorms large enough for day packs but not for larger backpacks.
