Was some hassel with the rooms, and needed to change room. fortunately to a private one! Mainly long termers staying, so they had their own things and did not really bother to have conversations with travellers...

Just what you need in a hostel. Clean quiet bedroom at an affordable price. TV did not work.

Got there from the airport in about 20 min. Coogee beach house was actually above my expectations. The room was pretty nice. Nice atmosphere. And right at just few steps away from the beach!

Was a wonderful stay! I enjoyed the quiet environment and as well the staff was helpful. One thing I would like to further find out is about your airport shuttle system... if we have paid for the shuttle with the hostel, because just last week -Wednesday 27th- we took the shuttle to the airport and we just said 'Thankyou' and took off. The driver came after us saying 'You have to pay, its $15!!' He also said something about the hostel people dont pay him anyways when one of us questioned him.

I love LOVED this place. It was clean, the rooms were big, there were actually enough outlets to plug in my electronics, places to hang clothes, lots of clean, private bathrooms (not stalls in a dorm-style hostel), good price and most of all, it is literally around the corner from the beach. A lot of the people staying here are a little more long-term and it's not a party place, so it's quieter and easy-going. I would go back here to stay (and want to!) in an instant!

Clean, great location (2min walk from the beach), and good if you're looking for a quiet hostel where the people aren't too crazy. Free breakfast every morning is also a plus.

Room smelt really a bad, room was boiling, Internet costs money (the world and its granny give free wifi) plus it is really bad. Signs everywhere saying don't make noise or you get thrown out but then at three a.m. There were parties.

Stayed at Cooe Beach Hose for 3 nights right after my arrival in Australia and could not have had a better start to this trip! Easily reached from the Airport with public Transport, greeted by nice staff and located perfectly at a beautiful beach. Also loved the surrounding area- great restaurants and shops near-by. Definitely want to stay there again!

Great place to stay if you are looking for a safe, clean, and fairly quiet place right at one of the coolest beaches in Sydney. However, this is not a party Hostel, yet the people (staff and guests) are nice and friendly. Only downfall was the not-free (actually quite expansive) WLAN.

Lovely homely hostel, great for travellers who are wanting a long term base and if you are working as not a party hostel. Travellers very friendly though, and staff keep it lovely and clean. Amazing location, literally you roll out of bed onto coogee beach with shops, bus stops and pubs on your doorstep.
