Property Information:
Sea Point is divided by Main Road, with its many shops, takeaways, restaurants, clubs and coffee bars. Just about everything you need is found in this part of the city and it hums with activity. Up the slopes of Signal Hill, away from the Atlantic Ocean, lie large, private villas that fetch into the millions for their views and proximity to the centre of Cape Town.
About Sea Point
In the other direction, lining the famous Sea Point promenade that draws locals and visitors for walking and jogging or just people-watching, are Sea Point's luxury beachfront and self-catering apartments - popular with the young and trendy or those with small families.
The promenade runs the length of Sea Point's beachfront, from Bantry Bay to Mouille Point and is a hub of activity, particularly in the early morning or late afternoons to watch the sun set right next to the waters of the Atlantic Seaboard. A number of children's parks run alongside the promenade and there is a chlorinated swimming pool at the pavilion.
Reaching the trendy and there-to-be-seen beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay is an easy walk or drive, and the city centre and V&A Waterfront are minutes away.

Since the opening in December 2010 a young and motivated team is running the Cool Jazz Backpackers - everyday with pleasure and enthusiasm.
Cool Jazz Backpackers offers nice rooms and comfortable surroundings. To afford an unforgetable residence, the Cool Jazz Team organizes several events, e.g. traditional braais, where guests from all over the world can sit together, have lekker drinks at the Cool Jazz bar and have a lot of fun.
Our rooms
We are offering single and double rooms, as well as dorms. All our rooms are in two- or three-bedroom-units with own bathroom and kitchen.

I have to say this is the worst hostel I have even lived in. I have been put in small room on the top floor which is very hot , but without Air Condition facilities at all, as a result I think you can not stay there in the day time.While I stay there, it is difficult to find any staff even in the day time , So while I check out on the last day morning at 9:10 am, I could not find any staff to return the door key and get back the deposit money... really a nightmare indeed.
