Cool Vibes Beach Front Hostel Reviews

This hostel was not one that I would normally choose, our group decided on it for us so I was a little skeptical at first when I saw how open the the whole place was. However, the staff and other guests were very friendly, the showers were awesome and they really made you feel welcome! The best part was how the hostel looked right over the ocean and we were literally 30ft from the ocean. You could hear the waves crashing at night, very peaceful.

This place is primarily for surfers... and I am not one. The place did not look like much from the outside, or from the inside for that matter. However, what made the difference in this place was a young French couple. They were extremely nice and paying attention to every detail. They made the place acceptable to me. The WI FI was good, 24 hrs.

This place is just the best. It's run by Sri and Celene, the nicest couple - the people who stay here just can't get away and want to live the pura vida as long as possible. Just across the street from the beautiful beach of dominical - and they have drinking water!! The bed was a little creaky and I felt bad rolling over in bed but no one seemed to mind and the vibe is light, kind and friendly. Great place all together and it's cheaper to stay in a double bed with someone fyi

This place definitely has character and is for the younger crowd! The beds and mattresses weren't in the best condition or the cleanest we saw, but it was cheap and it was good for one night for us. The property faces the beach which was amazing to walk out the front door and in 30 seconds were on the beach. The town is super chill, cute, everyone was very friendly.

Sri and Celine are amazing hosts, they take care of virtually everything, I planned to stay one night and ended up staying four because I so much enjoyed the atmosphere!

This hostel was just amazing. The staff were the most helpful and friendliest people I've ever met. The hostel is literally a walk across the street to the beach. Words cannot say enough good things about this hostel, anyone traveling through Dominical should definitely stay here!

The hostel managers were extremely friendly and worked their asses off to keep the place clean. They create an extremely welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.

I loved this place! Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights while backpacking through Costa Rica. Dominical is an incredibly small and chill beach town and this place fits the vibe to a T. We stayed in the mixed dorm and shared a double bed (one of those slightly larger bottom bunks) for $16 total per night. They don't make you breakfast or give you any sort of resort services, but that's not why you're staying at an open-air backpacker's paradise on the beach, is it? Beach bum paradise!

I am travelling alpne & was made to feel so welcome from the start the whole place has a lovely vibes & everyone was supet friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend this fable beachdide location. I was only going to stay 3 days & stayed 6!!!

We had a perfect stay, very relaxed, nice people, bonfires at the beach a lot of surfers, beautiful relaxing area with view to the beach mosquito nets on every bed, hammocks. We want to come back!

From the moment we arrived at Piramys Sri and Celine provided a welcoming environment. Our plan was to only stay one night, but the great atmosphere, location and friendly locals kept us there for a week. The beachfront location, allows you to pop back to the hostel for lunch and get back to surfing. Even if you want to hang out and enjoy the delicious free coffee , the open air lounge area provides a beautiful view of the beach and sunset. This treehouse-like hostel was a joy stay in!

the hostel's location, the staff & the character of the place is amazing! you fall asleep to waves crashing on the beach, which is only about 20 feet away. The town of Dominical is not your basic touristy town you find in Costa Rica, as its a heap more relaxed & quieter! the owners who run the hostel are amazing, very helpful, friendly & go out of their way to help you out in any way they can!! Will definitely going back in the near future
