Had a great stay. Was my first time travelling alone and the people at the hostel made it a really enjoyable experience. The guy who works in the morning...absolute star! Great way to meet people travelling as the lounge area is really chilled.

we (two guys both 22yrs), had a cool time at this place. there's a cool common area, nice staff, fine kitchen. the whole hostel is very well thought through. for example: there are electronic plug-ins on the side of every single bed. it's a nice walk next to the river to go to the city center. it's definitely the place to be if you're a young traveller going to Lyon.

The hostel is pretty far away from the city which is inconvenient, but the night staff who greeted me were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast was a little sad, basically cereal and stale bread, but the bunks were nice and comfortable and the showers were nice. It was weird I had to walk through the lobby to get to the showers. Overall pretty nice place.

A great stay. Slept well, saw a lot of Lyon and left happy.

The hostel is a bit far from the metro station and the vieux Lyon. The beds are nice, you have a lamp near each bed. The staff is good. The doors don't close in the room, but you have your own box with a key in the room. Ok to stay for a few days. Good wi-fi!

Its a good hostel. Nice breakfast which is free, the rooms were nice and big, they have large lockers and provide padlocks as well. The kitchen was really well equipped and they organise walking tours as well. Only problem I had was they leave the air con on all night which made the room really cold.

I think that of all the hostels I've ever stayed at, this one rates as my favorite. I loved the spacious reception-lounge area, good selection of music, and the cool vibe of guests mingling till late hours. You can get drinks & delicious sandwiches right on spot and probably for a better price than anywhere else in the city. There's a lot of information about sightseeing available + the receptionists are very helpful with anything you might want to know. Rooms are clean and comfortable as well.

The staff at this hostel were very friendly and welcoming, with good facilities and a very clean environment. I had a great time here, the main reception/bar area having a great atmosphere- everyone was very chatty and friendly and getting to know one another. It's a 10 minute walk to Valmy metro, and 20-25 minutes to walk into the centre, but it's ideally situated by the river, and I think the facilities/atmosphere/staff make up for this. Well worth recommending.

When I arrived, it was busy but the staff still managed to show me around the facilities. They were excellent with giving advice. It is about a 20 minute walk from the old quarter but it is well served by the transport links. The only downfall is that there are no locks on the doors, so you could easily walk past reception and steal something. They offer a locker and padlock service however.

My best hostel experience. HUGE shower room with lighted mirrors. Each bed had a charging box for electronics and a reading lamp. The lamp was a very nice touch! Kitchen was extremely well stocked and clean. Location was good: right on the Saone next to a bicycle station (take advantage of the bicycle program in Lyon: €1.50 for the day!)

The location is a bit too far, need to take the metro and some walk to get to the hostel. The staff are nice and helpful

A nice hostel to stay in. Good breakfast, clean facilities, no issues with wifi. Big communal area so it`s easy to meet other travellers. A long walk to most attractions in Lyon but it wasn`t too bad. Kitchen is handy for preparing your own meals. There are no keys for the entrance or dorm room door which was nice not to worry about but could be a potential security issue.

Nice hostel w/ lots of great perks. Free WiFi + computer usage, nice common area, & (best of all) a usable kitchen w/ refrigerator + cooking supplies! But other than that, this place is just average. What suffers most is the security; the rooms all do not have their own locks, so even leaving a jacket or backpack unattended is dangerous, as anyone may enter your room. Also, the showers and bathrooms are small and on opposite sides of the rooms, which makes crossing the common space a hassle.
