Great hostel, except for the location. not close to the train or the good area of the city. I also thought there should be some sort of key for security purposes. other than that, the staff was cool, kitchen was great, beds were comfy enough and had lights, outlets and lockers. I also found it easy to meet people.

Girl at reception exrtremely helpful, SECURITY not that good, there were many times that staff were not at the front desk, specially at night, i had to take a taxi the following day to the airport instead of taking the trian, as nobody was there, i had to wait 45 minute,s which ended up paying much more money for my taxi to the airport, I felt really really angre about it,

Top notch hostel! -Large lockers provided in the room for every bed. No need to bring your own lock, they'll provide one for a small deposit -Outlets next to each bed to charge your phone securely! Great atmosphere with cheap beer, etc. Highly recommended!

Hostel was quite nice, staff was friendly, only strange thing we detected was that you had to go throw bar for the toilet.

The room I used didn't have a room key but it wasn't a big problem because I was able to use a locker and borrow the lock with some deposit. In other words, it's free! It really helped me.Thank you!

Nice place, even it's a little bit far from the centre ville, but it's not far from those famous places.

Nice, clean hostel not far away from Old Lyon (15 min on foot), but definitely not in the city centre; it's ok if you don't mind walking a little bit. Facilities are pretty good (big lockers, a small lamp and shelf in every bunk bed, a big kitchen for self-caterers, clean showers...), the breakfast is simple and not a big deal but, hey, it comes for free. All in all, a good choice in a functional way without being cold, but if you are looking to meet new people, this might not be the best place.

After travelling for three weeks and backpacking around Europe, this was my favorite hostel! It was clean and the decor was fun and welcoming. The staff was very helpful, the kitchen was well equipped, and they even had a free computer that you could use! The location was great, only about 15 minutes walk from Vieux Lyon (the historic old centre), and right around the corner from lots of shops and cafes and markets. I would definitely stay here again!

Place was a great place to stay and meet people Some stuff were very helpful however some not at all - would recommend staff being able to ask simple and common traveler questions re use of public transport in and around Lyon and how to get to and from the airport (a response I use my car is not helpful for a backpacker)

The positive: the staff were super friendly. There is a bar in the hostel making it easy to meet other travellers. The negative: you had to walk through the bar to get to the bathrooms. I felt very uncomfortable with this. The rooms were freezing and only one fleece blanket was provided. No locks on the doors. Location not great - 20 minutes walk to vieux lyon but not much along the way. Overall I wouldn't recommend mainly based on the location and the bathroom situation.
