excellent common areas, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Only suggestions would be to improve the directions to the hostel, and that the kitchen could use more cleaning- provide clean tea towels so guests can dry their dishes and put them away.

I was quite disappointed with this place. It's a bit far from everything, beds are uncomfortable, it smells a bit funky and there are no locks to the doors and anyone can come in before 12 am, so it was quite worrying. Staff was nice and they took care of everything, but I would suggest that they knock on the door before they break in to the room to clean it. It wasn't that bad but bases on my experience I wouldn't recommend it.

I stayed only one night, so I didn't have an opportunity to get to know all facilities they offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lockers for belongings are very small. I would say a bit expensive. In the showers there was no hot water both in the evening and in the morning.

It was a nice stay, though at night almost everybody in the common room was using their samrtphones and laptops and there wasn't a lot of comunication between people. the facilities and the rooms are very good.

Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. The Cool and Bed was very clean and I enjoyed the atmosphere, where you could talk to people or keep to yourself, depending on your desires and needs at each time. Limited bathroom facilities, but not poor. Biggest draw back was location, a 25 minute walk from the main city was not ideal. Fairly close to Old Lyon, however, which would be great if seeing that was your interest.

The good: excellent wifi. Staff were all lovely. In the 9th but it's on the quai so relatively close to everything. Shops round the corner. Dorms always clean. Full kitchen. Actual coffee with breakfast (not-inst) The bad: the girls showers only had luke warm water (the wheelchair had temp control but that meant there was only one hot shower for the girls and sometimes the boys used it- was always a wait). Also the toilets were in need of more of a regular clean. The seats were often dirty.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly (they all introduce themselves by telling you their name and shaking your hand, a rear thing nowadays) All round clean and tidy hostel with a basic free breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

The Staff was really nice, sadly, a bit, as I would have liked to talk more French, all the people were able to communicate in English very well (normally this would be a big plus) The showers were fine, however a curtain would be nice to keep the place where the clothes are dry.

The hostel itself is nice but it is very far away from the center,

Not a bad hostel. Clean and staff were nice enough. But very far to walk from the train station...recommend to take the metro!

Good value for money for what I got. Everyone that I met was really helpful and welcoming. However the showers felt like those at a swimming baths and are quite tiny. NOTE: you have to keep pushing the button for the water to come out, which is luke warm. Also remember to bring your own lock as the doors have no locks on them so anybody can just walk in.
