A large hostel close to the beach and all Coolangatta's activities. The hostel looks nice, the rooms seem very new and the bathroom was ok. We had some problems with the roomm, since the hostel was overbooked. In the end we had to wait for some people to leave and clean up, but in the meantime they offered us drink in the bar downstairs. We booked a private double room, but got 2 beds in a dorm room (which was empty except for us). It is a typical surfer/backpacker hostel, not really for couples

OK place to stay in town, close walk to beach, some rooms have nice balconies with outdoor beds for lounging. Kitchen was clean with free breakfast. No alcohol is allowed in the hostel so you have to drink in the bar on the first floor. Bathroom cleanliness was horrible, no soap, no toilet paper. And maybe because there are no carpets in the building, but it is SOOO loud, even people just walking by echos and makes a bunch of noise, if anyone is talking in the hall you can hear every word.

awesome location if your a surfer, couldnt get much closer to the best breaks around. really clean, felt safe and loads of space to chill out, good storage for boards. really friendly staff, especially the manager who more than makes this hostel what it is, easily the best place to stay on the gold coast!!

the hostel was really good! one thing I LOVED - in your lockers - there are powerpoints!!! perfect for leaving cameras or phones charging up whilst you are out from the hostel....no need to worry about them being stolen!!! one bad thing - it was sooooo cold...and we only had these tiny, thin blankets to keep warm :(

A nice, pleasant hostel with welcoming staff. Conveniently located in the town centre around all the shops. A 2 minute walk to the beach to sunbathe, 15 min walk along to snapper rocks break and another 10 mins on from there to D-Bah. There is a supermarket around the corner (Aldi's) and the hostel has a nice bar downstairs with fox sports and weekly entertainment. We did the quiz and that was good fun! Outside the rooms they have a nice balcony with day beds so thats nice when the sun's out.
