Corcovado Hostel Reviews

We stayed at the hostel for five nights on January 2013. The hostel was very clean and Myle, the woman in charge, and the rest of the staff were extremley nice and helpful. The hostel is located right under mountain Corcovado which places it in a beautiful enviroment and provides spectecular view. The area is not very touristic so you'll get a lot of quiet. It requiers a bus to get to the beaches and other famous areas. Also, to get to the hostel you'll have to go up in a pretty steep road.

This is a very well run small hostel with lots of love and personality put into it. It is centrally located, close to the city centre and with easy access to the main touristic attractions(it is just beside the train station that brings you to Corcovado). You don't feel at all that you're in a big city like Rio. it is located in a very quiet, safe and cute neighborhood.

An excellent place to stay. The rooms are very nice and have great views. the photos on hostelworld really dont do them justice! Its a up-market pousada at a hostel price. fantastic location thats easy to take buses or taxis to all the usual places. Very friendy and helpful owners. Ill be staying there again!

I can't say how much we loved staying here! Walter & Myle were the most amazing people! We've traveled all over the world and this was without a doubt the nicest hostel(if you can call it that, it felt more like a really nice vacation home with friends), and without a doubt the coolest and nicest owners, too! We went out for drinks with them and they introduced us to some of their friends.....isn't that totally unheard of? I wish I could hug them again....loved them soooo much! STAY HERE!
